finished an entire season and darn thing is still growing! It bloomed. We trimmed it off and I already have what looks like about five inches on a second season of growth, which is unexpected. I thought you had to do a recharge process to get it to grow a second time.

My sister sent me similar waxed Amaryllis bulbs from Costco a while ago. They were beautiful and bloomed more than once before the bulbs were spent. I wasn't able to find them at Costco again, so I ordered four bulbs from this seller. When they arrived, they didn’t look like the Costco ones. They were smaller, each had a burned-looking area at the top where the wax ended, and all of them had heavy wire embedded in the bottom of the wax, curled in a circle for stability. After a month, two bulbs produced leaves but no flower stems. One bulb showed two potential blooms early on, but after several weeks there was no further development—just a dried-out appearance in the blooms and no further growth in the other two. The fourth bulb never grew at all. Today I noticed ants on the counter where the bulbs sat in bright, but not direct, sunlight. On closer inspection, I found one bulb oozing from the bottom—the one that never sprouted. When I checked the others, all four bulbs were soft and squishy. The bulbs inside the wax had rotted, which explains the ant infestation. All four have now been thrown away. I would not recommend them to anyone. ... show more

The company made 3 attempts to provide a bulb that would bloom. We appreciate the effort, but the plants never bloomed. After the 3rd attempt, the company asked for us to contact Amazon for a refund and Amazon said they cannot provide due to the extended timeline since the original order. Disappointed in the product as well as Amazon. The company upon understanding Amazon would not credit, contacted us and advised they will make an additional attempt to provide a bulb that will bloom. This speaks well of the company. As an update, this company has very nice people and has gone above and beyond to make it right. Changed the Overall rating to 5 stars to reflect their Customer Service and kind care. ... show more

I gave them to everyone on my Christmas list..EVERYONE loves them!! They have beautiful blooms!! And you do not have to water them because they come in wax!! So they are maintenance free!! I ordered an amaryllis the first part of February 2025. It did not arrive in time for me to send it to my friend's 80th birthday in MI. I kept it for myself and it is beautiful....it has bloomed four times. I immediately ordered another amaryllis to be mailed directly to my friend so she would receive it on her birthday. It arrived and she was happy to receive it. However, our two plants are only a week or two apart and hers has not bloomed yet. I have had four different blooms on mine and she has had not one single bloom! Such a disappointment! I wanted something special for her 80th birthday so this has also been a disappointment not only to her, but to me since it was my gift to her. Hers arrived about February 22 and it is now June but no blooms yet! It grew tall, but not one single bloom. What do you think happened? Thank you. ... show more
