Read the directions 3 times. I tried 3 other extenders that were all highly rated on Amazon. None of the other extenders did anything. Follow the directions for the type of network you have and the application you are seeking. I set this up on an exterior wall about 15 feet from a 110 outlet and ran an ethernet cable to the AX3000 from the power supply toggle (provided in box) mounted next to the 110 outlet. Another ethernet cable goes from the power supply toggle back to your router. Mine is set up as a point(mesh) to my existing att / google mesh system with 3 interior goggle point inside the house......works great outside. You will need to get some various length ethernet cables.

This thing is amazing! Using as an extender to get my house WiFi to the barn over 400’ away (mostly clear line of sight, couple trees), then another wavlink outdoor extender (smaller version) to boost that signal. Had it set up and running in 5 minutes, super easy, especially compared to the multiple bridge networks I tried to set up. I’ve tried many extenders over the years and this is the only one that could get a good signal that far.

Finally I can use wifi outside - the apartment garden area, which is a little far from my unit and also has obstacles to reach (such as stairs & decks. The installation instruction is not user-friendly; once it got set and started using though, it has been working good so far. It is priced high and a big investment. (Its size is much larger than I imagined, by the way.) I am watching if it's worth the investment.

Don’t buy from these people they do not stand behind their products I bought the hd6 WiFi antenna well 3 months after it stopped working I contacted the manufacturer they told me several things to try I did it at for a week now they want me to send it back at my expense to china after they receive it then 6 weeks or longer till they decide ifs it’s their fault or mine to tell me something and if it’s my fault I have to pay them for another one and pay shipping to them all this time I’ll be with out internet so make your mind up it’s on you but I’ll never buy from them ever again
