It has taken me forever to receive a refund on a wave spa that I purchased and returned unopened! My daughter had purchased a similar spa for me as a Christmas gift. The only correspondence received from Wave Spa was a generic email stating they were working on their customer service and were hoping to have it completed by AUGUST! I loved this hot tub at first, it doesn’t stand any kind of weather tho, after 3 months the machine was throwing codes at me and like one day after the 6month warranty was up for the lines I had little holes , idk if I loved it enough to say 500 was worth 3 months 🤷🏻♀️

    • Great idea - If only it worked as advertised
I was prepared to love this spa but, after a lot of tinkering and emails with customer support, it just did not function properly. The original advertising said it was adjustable up to 108 degrees. I prefer a temp of 104 and thought this would be fine. In practice, you can SET it to a temperature at up to 104 degrees - but it would never go above 102 degrees. And that was when it was working properly. Sometimes it would work as above for days at a time. but, a majority of the time it would pop an error code - E5 - and fail to operate at all. Too bad. Great idea that just didn't work properly. I sent it back (and it cost a lot to do so). ... show more

    • Customer service problems
Ordered this spa for granddaughter to have for spring break. It was delivered on February 1 but didn’t take it out of the box until March 21 because of winter weather. Setup was easy and quick and water has up to temperature by the next morning. However when the bubble feature was turned on the pump started making a horrible grinding noise and quickly shut down. I unplugged the unit let it rest and started it again. Same thing happened. So I shut it down and sent a message to the warranty department by email. You can’t talk to anybody or call because there’s no phone number anywhere. Anyway they answered me right away and over the course of the next week we managed to get approval for a replacement pump as soon as I return the old one. They issued a return return pick up order to UPS which only took four weeks. So it was returned back to their office on April 22. Today is May 26 and I’m still waiting for the return of a new pump. Twice they told me that they couldn’t find my address which was in the email and also in the box that I returned the old pump so still waiting. I’ve just ordered from Amazon a Coleman inflatable hot tub which should be here in two days. So if the pump for the Wave spa ever shows up I will have a spare. ... show more

    • I didn't know if I received a lemon and I did not see contact numbers fit support.

See above. It generated gfi error three days After installation. Tried three separate circuits with the same error. My main circuit box is equipped with gfi breakers and they never tripped. There also seemed to be a small water leak from the bottom of unit that a small puddle appeared.

I bought a 2-inch styrofoam board to make the bottom soft and help to hold heat in. I like the 2-inch styrofoam board I made one for the top. Not only keeping the top look better but help to keep in the heat.
