  • I was pleased with the heavy weight and also this is the ...
Size: 12ft x 20ft
Sized to be 12x20 (not 4-6" less due to 'sizing'). This tarp is very thick and should hold up longer than previous tarps (white 12x20 ft size) that I have tried from other suppliers. I was pleased with the heavy weight and also this is the first time I have used a 'reversible' style where one side is white and the other side is brown. I put this tarp on the south side of my house that is exposed to the hot California sun throughout the year. This tarp serves two purposes: to protect a 16 foot trailer that I keep parked on the side of my house and also to serve as a area that is not only shaded, but also helps to keep the south side of the house 'cooler' in the hot summer months. The brown side is down and the white side is up: I figured this would help reflect the sunlight better. The brown side does not 'darken' the area underneath it and it still allows plenty of sunlight through (of course not as much if both sides were white in color). I find the brown side may help to keep the shaded area a little cooler on bright sunny days. Typically I get about 12-16 months of 'use' before these types of tarps need replacement (they get thin and the grommets begin to fail around the edges). This tarp is so much 'heavier duty' than previous styles I have gotten - that I would NOT be surprised to see this tarp last longer than the 12-16 months of use that I am used to! I highly recommend trying this FULL sized tarp for your own typical use - the price is RIGHT for this tarp - it is not the most expensive NOR the least expensive for its type and size. One last benefit: when used as a 'semi-permanent' tarp such as what I use it for: having the brown side DOWN lessens the 'look' of dirt that tends to accumulate on the topside of the tarp and the dirt cannot be 'seen' from underneath the tarp when you look up at it - so it tends to look 'cleaner' because of the dark underside. Again - I mounted the tarp with the WHITE side up: to be used to reflect sunlight and keep the underside cooler. Those who use it in colder climates may want to mount it with the BROWN side up - this may help to absorb the sunlight and keep the underside a little warmer. ... show more

  • You Know This Thing Is Going To Last
Size: 12ft x 20ft
HEAVY, but that's why you know it's never going to rip. I use this to line my horse shelters, and the peace of mind I have knowing my horses are warm and cozy inside this tarp is massive. Never getting another brand

  • Is it Durable ? Workmanship is certainly in question
I just received the tarp yesterday and was covering the item it was purchased to protect. I’m kinda skeptical about the workmanship because at least one of the grommets are very close to the boarder of the tarp. Time will tell on durability. Seems to 151be pretty heavy duty. It is advertised as UV resistant, that will definitely determine if it’s durable. I will follow up in about a year and let you all know. Update 5/17/2020 The tarp survived through the rest of the summer, fall and winter. The tarp is still in good condition. Quality product. Happy with my purchase. Update 8/16/24 The tarp has seen better days. It lasted 5 years. Was it worth it? To me it seems to sell at a reasonable price and last a reasonable amount of time. I’m still happy with the purchase. I would/will buy again. ... show more

  • Quality Tarp
Size: 16ft x 20ft
Good quality tarp. I use it to cover my hay. Keeps it dry and protected. When left in the elements consistently it lasts about 1.5yrs. Climate where I am is occasionally down to 20 deg in winter to 100 in summer. Wind gusts can reach up to 20-30mph. I will continue to purchase it as long as it’s available. ... show more

  • Heavy duty
Size: 16ft x 20ft
I like the thickness of the tarp and quality of grommets. Grommets are set back from the edge to give more support. ..... The quality control failed on this tarp. ..... A pre-punched grommet hole was exactly through the edge rope and another hole added to move grommet to the proper position. Maybe that will not be such a weak point as it seems. ..... The tarp fabric also has spots that show daylight. These weak points are along seams and a few places randomly on face between panel seams. We have not had rain to see if holes allow water leakage so that is to be determined. ....... Be prepared to keep expectations low so you will not be disappointed. Then if/when you receive a perfect tarp you will be happier with your purchase. At least this tarp was not dry-rotting and falling apart at the seams like the one I bought from another business. .... I will buy again if/when needed. ... show more

  • Poor quality tarps but advertised as one of the best.
Size: 20ft x 30ft
We have a 26’ hard top pontoon boat and have to use a 20’x30’ tarp to cover it so it doesn’t get destroyed by the summer sun and winter weather. I have purchased 3 of these tarps and they all have had some sort of issues and quality problems. These apparently are spliced together to make up the difference widths and those splices are problematic. These have voids and spot holes all throughout the whole cover surfaces but they really have long running gaps and holes up and down the seams. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t have holes and doesn’t leak then this isn’t the cover u r looking for regardless of what the mfgr advertises or claims. The first one I ordered I return by 3-times trying to get one that was solid quality but every single time I got the replacement tarp in hand it seemed to be worse than the original one. The life expectancy on these seems to be less and less as the years go on. The first one lasted almost 2-years but every replacement cover since has literally rotted and fell into strips and pieces in least than a year. They just started flaking and became stiff and brittle and when wind blew them they started falling apart. These most certainly are not UV Resistance and they’re not waterproof either as the mfgr advertises them to be. Extremely disappointing performance tarps and based upon their quality and lifetime these are horrible over priced. If you’re looking for something to cover an area and it doesn’t matter if water leaks through onto it and not expecting it to last longer than 6-months then these are great options for you if you don’t mind overpaying for them. Strongly not recommended tarps. ... show more
