I had a large clunky universal cover prior to this one. Fits very well, magnet holds the Remarkable in place. Nice feel to cover with no slipping. The fold over feature is very low profile and comfortable to hold and magnet that holds in place is very strong. Very happy with purchase. The only issue, which is not much of a problem, is the magnet that holds the cover in place when folded completely over is so strong I find myself working a finger tip to separate so I can return to the close position. Thinking of placing a very small fabric tab on corner to grab a little easier to return to closed position. Just wonderful, thank you for an affordable and well made product ... show more

Not a typical reviewer. But passing along that the case is a good quality. The suede-like texture looks professional and has a good feeling when you are holding it. Some might not like there is that there is nothing to hold back your marker. Even though your marker attaches magnetically to your Remarkable, my puppy was able to snag it and that didn't end well. I resolved by going to Etsy and bought a Pencil Hugger from PencilHuggers (Size 10.2 - a nice lady from Texas, good work as well). I do see Atoyu has a model that will hold a pencil, but I would still choose this case as it is just the profile of the Remarkable. Also, love that your Remarkable attaches and removes from the case via the magnet in the Remarkable. No adding velcro or attaching something to the back of your device. With this case, if you ever decide to get another case or swap, it's as simple as pulling it off the magnets. Holds well when attached. If they ever decide to make it in Navy I'll buy another just to get the color! PS Atoyu is inventive with a tiny card. It has a smiley and sad face. I bought 6 different cases/covers for my Remarkable 2 to try them out. The Ayotu is hands down my favorite. I love how sleek and slim it is. One of the better features of the Remarkable is how thin it is. The Ayotu allows you to keep that profile. It is held in place nicely with magnets and is very secure. My ONLY issue is the lack of a pen holder. The sides stick out JUST enough that you can secure the pen to the side of the Remarkable as normal without issue. I picked up a pen snuggie off Etsy that is just an elastic band with a pocket in it for the pen. There were many colors and designs to choose from. It compliments the Ayotu well and solved my one issue! ... show more

Love the soft almost velvet feeling finish. Front and back are rigid and protects my Remarkable 2 very well. Attachs via magnets so super easy to snap into place. Only small gripe is that it doubles the weight of the Remarkable 2 when attached. But I can live with it. Just be aware for anyone who is looking for a ultra light weight cover. This is not it. But I do recommend this cover. I like it a lot. Very Good value for money. ... show more

Great case, especially compared to the very expensive Remarkable leather case. I happen to have one of the leather covers since my work paid for it and it is very nice. However, I wanted a different feel and color and this was cheap enough, so I tried it. Glad I did. The feel is much softer, and I like the gray color more than the black or brown (I've tried both - again, work supplied). It's not nearly the quality as the factory version, but it is a fraction of the price too. It is harder to close than the factory case, the magnets seem to hold the two sides together more firmly, but it's not a big issue. Also, the edges extend a little further out so the tablet and pen are slightly better protected. Bottom line, this is the case I use, and I'm pleased with it. Even if it wears out faster, it is cheap enough to just get another one and it's still cheaper than the Remarkable leather cover. ... show more

I purchased this to protect my ReMarkable 2 tablet, in lieu of the incredibly overpriced branded version. This one connects magnetically with no issues, protects the tablet, and appears it will last. I've only had it a few days, but I'm satisfied with the look and function for the price. I placed the tablet inside, and holding the case front cover alone, the tablet did not fall out, so the magnets are strong enough for my needs. My old Remarkable case was semi-fabric and very light but also picked up dirt and cat hair like anything. This one is slightly heavier and feels solid. The surface feels pleasant and slightly leathery, and stickers stick to it well, including a backup pen holder loop sticker, which was really what I bought it for since I don't trust the magnetic pen to hold when bringing it around. The internal magnets work great, both the one that holds the Remarkable in and the one that holds it closed (but does not appear to put the Remarkable to sleep when closed or wake it when opened, though I can't recall if the original did that either).
