They do a really great job at making this look like a hard case cargo carrier. In case anyone else just looks at the photo description of an item, I'm here to say it's a soft cargo carrier. Although there is a very slight learning curve to properly install this bag, it was fairly easy to use. I drove from Texas to Florida and this bag held up through the highway speeds, gusty wind, and some rain. It does get things hot inside. So make sure not to put anything in there that's sensitive to heat. I actually got this because I don't have any luggage racks. Which you can use either with or without. The strap goes in through your doors and under your roof. But it's easier with luggage racks. There's definitely lots of storage, it's basically like having another trunk. So far so good. Overall I'm very satisfied with this rooftop cargo carrier!

I liked how much stuff you could fit in it, we drove through an ice storm and everything stayed dry, we also drove through 2 snow storms and rain storms and everything stayed dry. The only thing we had a problem with was the straps if you didn’t have them just right it made a noise inside the car. Other than that it’s a good cargo carrier bag.

We had an old hard shell case that we called our turtle. We use it every time we went to Wisconsin. When we saw this soft shell cargo carrier, we went ahead and ordered it. We have a roof rack which made it super easy to attach the carrier to our roof. This soft shell case works great because it conforms to the objects you place in it, unlike the hard case. Very durable and made well, extra thought put into the flaps which go over the zipper to prevent rain from getting in and keeping things dry and waterproof. Another nice feature is storage. This folds up and you can simply store it in a small space on a shelf when not using unlike a hard shell case that takes up a bunch of space.

*Update* The company contacted me and replaced it very quickly. Customer service was awesome. I had high hopes for this since it had good reviews. I got this for a week trip and it ripped on first use so I had to tape it because we needed it and had no time to get another. When packing at the end of the trip one zipper came off and there got off track. We are thankful that it had Velcro or we would have been in big trouble. Very disappointed. I'm not sure if I can return it since I done have the box

I do alot of traveling and always wished I could bring more stuff with me. I don't have a roof rack and this set comes with everything to help carry extra items. Strong water proof material with strong clips to secure to your car. Easy to install and use, allowed me to bring everything I needed on a road trip. Works perfectly, doesn't flop around at highway speeds and no worries about it flying around since it's very secured. They even provide a slip proof mat to protect your car and prevent any scratches. Overall very happy with the cargo carrier. Definitely recommended
