Bought this mostly because I needed an electrical splitter outside. It works well but be aware of the smell size. I chose this on purpose because it was small. It fits a “Y” splitter and that was what I needed. But it is tight and the box as my decorations have those square plugs on them

I've used multiple of these boxes for holiday lights, and they keep the connections dry. My only gripe is that the cutouts don't always accommodate the thick insulation on some of the outdoor extension cords we use. Since they have protection behind each of these, there's not a lot of reasons not to make some of the openings a little bigger. ... show more

I got this to conceal a connection for our pool pump. I needed one a little larger due to the wiring configuration, and this one is perfect. The unused ports remain sealed due to the enclosed rubber plugs, so this works exactly like I wanted.

My very first complaint is that the box needs a handle on the top. Secondly, the lid is very difficult to line up when you're out in the cold weather trying to protect your cords. The last thing you want to do is stand out there trying to get the holes in the lid to match up with the holes in the bottom portion of the box. I don't use it anymore. This is a good quality product. I used it to connect my landscaping lights to a power source. The cords stay dry and protected from the elements. I even covered it with mulch and it’s not even noticeable. I recommend the product for keeping your electrical cords dry.
