I've purchased some bad (read- poor quality) hammocks in the past, so I ordered this one without having high hopes. I'm so happy I took the chance though because this really blew me away! This arrived quick, neatly packed in a large box with all of the pieces neatly wrapped/protected. Assembly was super simple and took less than 10 minutes to get together. There are no tools required and there's only a few pieces that need to be connected before getting the mat on the stand. The mat is awesome! having the support bars (wood) on the ends which keep it open is a game changer as the hammock is always open and you never have to unroll it. The mat is thick and really great quality. It is unbelievably comfortable to lay in and relax on. This is easily the best hammock I've ever purchased! It is super sturdy, well made and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and definitely re-purchase too!

Treeless is what we are, majority of our big trees were removed which was good but that also meant no swings anymore. I missed being able to lay outside at night fighting the mosquitoes complaining lol here we are again! Easy to setup outside. Extremely sturdy as me and my two kids laid on it. We didn’t meet the ground. The quality seems to be pretty solid! No missing parts, so that was good. It’s quite soft and comfortable and we love it!

This was so easy to assemble and I was able to do it alone in less than 10 minutes. The fabric feels soft but very durable and I suspect this will hold up for quite some time. It only has one connection point on either end so it acts like...a hammock. Care with getting in and out and moving around, but we've had this style for years and that's just the way they are. The frame for this is very lightweight and honestly, I would be skeptical about trying to max out the suggested weight capacity, but it's been great so far.

As other reviewers mentioned, this is tremendously easy to assemble, there's like 5 parts that snap together and you're done. Even the single page of instructions included is nearly superfluous. I was mildly apprehensive about getting a white hammock since our covered patio gets covered with dust or pollen depending on the season, but this is a very heavy, tight-woven outdoor fabric. I think any environmental detritus would hose right off. Not sure how it will deal with stuff getting spilled on it but considering it's waterproof it'll likely do alright. It's the perfect size for one full grown adult or two kids, or maybe an adult and a kid if you're careful. My complaint here is that it has very little stretch so you kind of just sit ON the hammock and less IN the hammock as you would with a woven/cotton one. Be careful when taking a nap as it's very easy to roll right off. By virtue of this fabric it's also less comfortable than its less durable kin, but could be alleviated with a blanket underneath.

I had a hammock years ago that eventually succumbed to age and the elements, and I missed having a hammock, so was happy to have the opportunity to try this hammock out. The frame is extremely easy to assemble. To assemble the five metal frame pieces your simply depress a pin on one piece and it pops back up when it reaches a hole in the second piece, locking them together. The hammock comes with an extra pin set, and extra end caps. Also thoughtfully included is a pillow that ties on. The hammock also has convenient pockets sewn on both sides to store your cell phone, book, etc.. The hammock height is adjustable by means of the chains on either end. My photo shows a 6' tall man in the hammock. I don't feel that this hammock is sufficiently large enough for two adults, but it is very comfortable and roomy for one adult. I am happy with this hammock, and recommend it.

*Update. I was really excited to share this with family, however the lack of give and slick surface of this hammock have ended with multiple family members, including my elderly mother, on the ground after trying to sit down on this to use. Lower adjustment, for more give, puts this hammock very low making climbing out of it difficult. Additionally, after having this outside under a tree for less than a month, the wood frame has started to discolor which looks a bit like mold. I'd expect better quality out of an item that is normally kept outside. I was looking for a large outdoor hammock that would support a lot of weight and length and be decently easy to get out of being older and tall. Pros: This is a well manufactured product with pretty heavy duty hollow steal rust resistant coated frame and outdoor weather resistant hammock. This took me all of about 10 minutes to pop together and pull to the area of the yard I wanted it. Very easy to build. Fairly simple straight forward directions and can be easily unassembled. Came with extra sprint and plastic foot cap. Adjustable height and long pillow with securing ties. Long, wide and fairly easy to get into when height is adjusted accordingly. I'm 5 feet 8 inches and 195 lbs and swam on this. Could easily fit 2 smaller people. Pieces shipped wrapped to reduce damage and scratching. Hammock is made of a weather resistant plastic that looks like it should drain well with out hold up fairly well to the elements. Hammock has convenient side pocket for stowing items like books, cell phones, tablets, ect. Cons: I'm not a big fan of the pillow which is actually made of cloth and does not have much stuffing. It may not hold up well to the elements. I'm a little worried that the holes in the wooden frame are not reinforced to reduce wear on the ropes. While the hammock material does appear to be longer life and weather resistant, I really hate the feeling of lying on plastic canvas. The plastic feet easily pop off of this so be carefull dragging it around. Luckily the manufacturer added a spare if one does get lost. A personal issue, but I actually like this open hammock design less than the banana type ones. The open flat design feels more awkward and doesn't seem to be as comfortable to those form fitting hammocks. Overall, this is a rather nice hammock that is fairly well made, large and stable. I really appreciate that this works for larger people or possibly more than one lighter folks. Because of the quality, I suspect a longer life with this as well. At the present price of $118.98 + additional $10 coupon this appears to be within fair market value especially for it's larger size capacity.
