This filter works perfectly with my GE fridge. This is probably the 3rd-4th time I have purchased these from Amazon. Made the mistake of getting them from a box store for a lot more money. These are no different. Very easy to install as long as you follow the instruction for your specific fridge. Very strong plastic, so it is durable. My water taste great and that is a lot to say for Florida tap water. PROS - Functions great. These are perfect replacements to the original filters RPWFE. I was confused about how to change the filter even after reading the provided instructions. I didn’t know if I was supposed to pull the old one straight out or twist it (the provided instructions give both options). After consulting on line videos and the owners manual (which was wrong and said to twist) I realized that our filter just pulls straight out. Very easy to replace with this new one once I knew that. Instructions say to run two gallons of water to clear air from the line after replacing the filter. When I did that, some grey water and particles initially came out. That had me worried about this new filter. But after the first half gallon or so, the water was clear and has been clear since and tastes clean. I am happy with these filters. They are a lot less expensive than the original name brand but still all of them are crazy expensive. I also like that these replacement filters come with stickers to help you remember when you changed it. But still that is not enough—the instructions say to change every 6 months or when you have used 170 gallons. I have no way to know how much water has gone through the filter. I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you!

I purchased the Waterdrop Replacement water filter for my GE Refrigerator because that what my refrigerator requires. The replacement filter works well and the water and ice seems to be very clean. I have purchased other filters in the past and this one works equally as good although alittle more pricey because of that (built in Chip) that I find to be Nonsense. I am able to remember to change my filter, I don't need to pay more (each Filter) for a reminder. Outside of that, the filter is fine.
