When I first opened the box it reminded me of a flimsy inflatable swimming pool toy -but Im warming up to it. The material is clear PVC plastic with no weave / reinforcement strings in the layer - but it is super thick. I really like the design of the extra large 3.5" opening access cap on top . With this bladder you can fill it from the large opening on top or by attaching a hose to the bottom end and forcing water in under some pressure, like from a water spigot . An air bleed valve on the top cap would be a nice upgrade but you can just loosen the top cap to let air out, it has a rubber o-ring so it makes a good seal. Filling from the top by 'pouring' water in is tough to top off to full capacity because the bag is not rigid in shape. On the 50gal around 40gal is more practical, though with some effort closer to max is doable. When done using the bag you can clean it , see inside , and then air it out . Those are huge plusses. You can't do that as easily with the other designs that have only tiny 1" inlet /outlets and opaque material, so its a huge advantage for this one. Pro tip: rinse the bag out with a baking soda wash (1tsp per 2 cups water) and then let it dry and leave a thin film of baking soda residue coating the inside and you'll never get mildew in there. No need to rinse it out next use. For storage the 50gal folds up to fit in a 9x6x13" box ...sort of. Im mixed on the bags material and we'll have to see how well it holds up over time . At the least , avoid sharp things and dont leave it baking in the UV of the sun . You wont be running your jeep over this bag like the other guys videos and its not going to be puncture reinforced to resist being thrown on sharp rocks but I think under normal wear & tear it should be fine . I got one to transport water for my RV . Though not 'potable' rated , pvc is fine for short term holding . It does come with a patch kit & glue if you have an oops and get a puncture . As for the hardware - the handles are a nice thought but largely unecessary. Go ahead , try and pick up 400lbs of water. Id prefer no handles to make the bag more compact when folded , just grab a handful of the bag at a corner to adjust positioning as you fill. Because the bag material is so thick its a bit akward to fold and isnt as compact when folded as it could be. The valve hardware comes with a 3/4 NPT to 3/4 NPT adapter - this is NOT a garden hose thread. A 3/4 NPT to 3/4 GHT would be a better idea in the kit and what you'll need to hook on a garden hose. Overall , while im still deciding if I like the material, the advantage of the extra large filling cap opening is a huge plus. I'll try and remember to update in a few mos.

We live in a place where dry spells are common, so having this foldable water tank is helping me prep a little better. I fill it when rain is in the forecast, then use that water during drier days to keep my potted plants hydrated. It’s easy to move, even when partially full, and I can clean it with a soft cloth without any struggle. One of the accessories fits the spout I already use with my irrigation timer, so that’s been a plus.

Carrying buckets gets old fast, so this helps me haul a decent amount at once. The handles are a smart touch—they make it easier to share the weight between two people or drag it over grass. The different spouts help depending on how I’m filling troughs or rinsing tools. The wide cap is nice, especially when trying to dump water from a larger hose. I like that the inside stays easy to see so I know when it needs a rinse.

We needed a decent amount of water for cleaning and washing up, and this provided that without needing to drag around buckets. It folds down small so it fit in the trunk with everything else. Once filled, it stood up without tipping and didn’t leak at all. The extra spouts made it easier to control the flow, which helped avoid wasting any water.

Got this water tank for camping trips, mainly for cleaning and washing hands. It folds flat and doesn’t weigh much when empty, which is great when packing gear. Once filled, I can leave it near the tent for cooking cleanup or rinsing off. The plastic is thick, but still manageable to carry with the handles. The accessories made it simple to control the flow of water, and I appreciate the large cap, which makes refilling super quick. It’s not made for drinking, but for everything else at a campsite, this gets the job done.
