If you are boon-docking and like long showers or spending less time hauling water we hook this up when we get set up with a additional pump and filter that runs off our solar we put it on a remote switch so we can shut it off easy when we leave the campsite. When we get it set up we haul our 90 gallon bladder and fill this up 3 trips and we are good for 14 days easy. Saves lots of wear on the Rv pump and works great as a backup.

I bought this to go in the back of my truck for long-term camping, and was really impressed with how it held up. We were able to refill our water tanks twice off of this water bladder. The capacity was great, the value fantastic. There was a little bit of leakage, but nothing crazy. My family always appreciates being able to take showers when we’re in the backcountry and this helps facilitate that!

Overall it works well. I have no way of measuring exactly how much water it holds, but it holds plenty for my purposes. I only have 2 minor complaints. The outlet is 2 inches up off the bottom, so you have to pick it up to get the last few gallons out of it. Also the fitting with the ball valve doesn't leak, but the metal adapter for a hose fitting doesn't seal tightly, and will drip. It's not a fast leak. In the time it took me to drain it entirely I probably lost a pint or so of water. It was a noticeable puddle though. I tried going heavy on the teflon tape, and it wasn't enough to stop it.

I purchased this tank to transport water for irrigation from a lake to a 750-gallon elevated storage tank using a battery-operated transfer pump. I load the empty portable tank in the back of my truck, fill it using the transfer pump, drive to the storage tank on a hill at the other end of my property, pump the water from the portable tank to the storage tank, and then make 5 more round trips until I fill the storage tank. When I am done for the day, I drain the rest of the water from the portable tank, then fold it up and put it away until the next time I need to refill the storage tank. This portable tank has worked flawlessly and is perfect for my needs. One caveat. The first time I used the tank and took it out of my truck to put it away it still had a couple of inches of water at the bottom. I pulled it out of my truck bed and could not lift it off of the ground. I finally managed to lift one end high enough to drain the rest of the water. Now, when I am done, I hang the drain end off of the back of my tailgate until it is completely empty and have no problem lifting the tank, folding it up, and putting it away for the next time.

Not a good solution for holding potable water due to strong vinyl smell from leaching. Fittings on the PVC valve were too large and still leaked with 30+ wraps of Teflon tape. It does however hold water if you wrap enough Teflon but the water is going to be contaminated with PVC residue. Would not recommend.

We bought this for RV camping since we do a lot of boondocking. The material is very thick and easy to fill up and also transfer water to our RV. The only problem we have had is that the valve on front will leak very slowly. It just may need more tape and put back on again. Overall a good product. It did come with some extra pieces that we have no idea how they are to be used since the directions are lacking.
