This winch looks great! I can't wait to try it out on the trail. Installation was pretty easy EXCEPT for installing the synthetic rope. There is a YouTube video from Warn showing how to do it with a zip tie looped around the winch side rope loop. I broke the zip tie provided and another 4 or 5 before I gave up for the night. I did a little research online and found that others have had the same problem. Their suggestion was using a piece of wire hanger instead of the zip tie. The first try grabbing the wire with a pair of pliers and pulling had the rope anchored at the winch. Everything else worked great. I installed it in a 2014 Jeep JK Rubicon and a Warn Elite series bumper. The bumper and the winch look awesome. I would definitely purchase this again.

Product quality of the Warn winch is amazing. Built like a tank. Overall install was simple with the right tools. Use YouTube for install tips if it’s your first time doing the install. Also if hooking up to a Wrangler JLU than buy a 8mm-1.25 flange nut ahead of time to connect the ground wire to the battery terminal with ease.

"Most people who buy a winch never use them" is a phrase I hear thrown around a lot. It might be true for all I know. For me, however I bought this winch hoping I'd never have to use it, or if I did it would be to save a stranded minivan in the snow. Last week I came across a small mud puddle, maybe 2 feet deep at its deepest, and I decided (against better judgment) to cross the puddle just for fun... when I got caught high centered on a hidden mud mound and was suddenly buried up to the frame in mud, stuck, spinning my tires... alone... with no cell service for at least a half hour drive. That's when Warn came to save the day! This winch did exactly what it said it would do: Save my stupid self from getting into too much trouble. I was able to pull myself the entire 20 feet of the puddle, dragging my frame along the mud and out the other side, no problem. Without this winch I might still be stuck in that puddle drinking my own urine. Pros: It delivers on its promise to be able to winch you out of almost any problem you get yourself into. Solid, proven Warn reliability for a good peace of mind. Confidence to go places you would have normally passed up. Cons: Install is a bit of a PITA It gives you confidence to go places you would normally pass up. Without this winch I would have left that puddle alone, so I guess in a way this Winch got me stuck too.

Seems nice, not sure how it’ll do. Didn’t pay for it as the gooberment is giving out free money so this was a stimulus investment. Time will tell, Amazon says it won’t fit my truck but it sure does. Did have to utilize the contactor relocation kit which was 100 bucks more but who’s counting.

This Zeon 10S winch is praised all over the internet for being made in the USA, long lasting, and able to deliver the goods when needed. The box is large and heavy, but packed very well. The included heavy-gauge wire was long enough to get from the (Jeep) battery to the bumper without tight routing, and includes a protective sheath for the positive lead. Mounting something like this can be a real challenge. The mounting nuts are on the bottom, and have a tendency to fall out during install. Consider taping them into place for an easier time. The included remote is fine, and looks like it will hold up to rough use, but at this pricepoint, it would be nice if wireless became standard. The synthetic rope is excellent, but note that it comes 'separately' in the box, and you will need to thread it onto the drum yourself. This is not as easy as it sounds, so consider routing it through the fairlead (!) and bumper before you install the winch. Of course, this is a 'centered' winch (fairlead in the middle) so make sure you have room for it. It takes up 100% of the Rubicon-X bumper, with the Maximus mount plate, and still needed the vacuum pump to be relocated. It's a really wide winch. In the end, it's all worth it. The low profile controller sits well in the bumper and the machinery is all business. Still waiting for my rebate, though. (These things go on Warn rebate very often, so wait for it.)

Best of the best. My town was flooded last summer, and I volunteered to help clean up affected homes. At one house, the water was so high, a 2nd floor deck "drifted" off the supports holding it up. When I arrived, there were all sorts of crazy chains rigged up and wrapped around trees like a giant yard pulley system. Long story short, we disconnected all the chains, hooked up the winch, and in 15 minutes, we had the deck pulled back and up onto its supports.

Super expensive. Very elite brand. But so glad I went for it. Thing is built to last a lifetime. WARN is in a class by itself. Nothing compares. Synthetic rope almost too good to be true. I have had my share of experiences trying to feed a ton of wire onto a spool. Drove me crazy. This rope goes on like butter. Will say I had to build up my bumper (top shelf) with another 1/4" of steel. This winch is very, very wide. You need a ton of room for this winch. Mounting was quite the task... zero room to work with... but who cares. When I was finished, it looked like a masterpiece. Recommend the cover too. May as well protect your investment!

I've used this winch more than a few times. Never had any issues with it. The only gripe I have is that the plastic covering the logo melted off in the sun, and the logo faded pretty bad over a couple years. The plastic covering the terminals also faded pretty bad. It's looking a little rough, but it still works great. Would recommend a winch cover if you can find one that fits. Four stars because it's way too expensive compared to other 10k winches.
