  • Great Build Quality
Great product. Having a portable winch is so convenient. 1000lb isn’t a huge amount of force so consider snatch blocks to augment this. Also, get in the habit of taking the battery out every single time. It’s annoyingly easy to leave the on button flipped which drains the battery completely, them a month later when you need it you find the battery dead. Other than that, very reliable and great quality product. ... show more

  • Warn is a great company that stands by their product
Warn is a great company that stands by their product. The battery I received was having issues so they sent me a brand new one with no hassle at all! This thing can pull a shocking amount of weight especially when you combine with snatch blocks. I was able to pull several 14' long 20" diameter oak log up a steep hill. The battery charge only lasted for maybe 2 to 5 pulls but it's really not meant to pull for long distances. My only gripe is I wish it had a release for pulling out the cable. It uses quite a bit of battery juice winding it out. Very portable though and would be great thing to keep in your truck for emergencies. ... show more

  • Neural (Safety)Position That Locks The Control Trigger Out In The Safe Position.(DEFECTIVE)
Glad That WARN is still employing american workers for customer support!! They could not help me with product registration. Could not help with location of product serial number, location inside product? Still unclear weather forward aft neutral switch is defective. This seems to be a fair product. The Forward Neutral Aft Switch Needs Improvement For SAFETY. Also ( Made in CHINA) Bring These Jobs Home!!! Disappointed in customer support, purchase through amazon direct from manufacturer, they seem to be passing the buck when it comes to quality and warranty SN location, registration. WARN NEEDS TO IMPROVE ON QUALITY CONTROL. ... show more

  • Not qualified to wear the WARN name
Battery had very low capacity and drained very quickly. We were only able to use the winch on one occasion and the battery only lasted about 90 seconds, including the time it took to unspool the cable. Battery failed during the operation and the load (350 lbs.) had to be lifted manually. We tried to recharge the battery several times and it failed to take an adequate charge (failed to last more than about 15 seconds). Looked into getting a replacement battery and they cost more than $175.00. I will not be buying another battery as I can not trust the quality or longevity. We are very disappointed that WARN would allow their name on this product. ... show more

  • Life (and back and wallet) saver! Moved the hot tub with no problem!
Lifesaver! I am a middle-aged female and needed to get the hot tub off of the deck post haste (before the weight of the hot tub did any more damage to the deck and side of the house). I was quoted $500 by two different professionals to move the empty three-person Jacuzzi (less than 600 lbs). I bought this wonderful tool, a tree-saver strap, and a tow strap and (very carefully) manovered the hot tub off of the deck all on my own. Now the Jacuzzi gets its own pad off of the deck, and it will again be moved with this awesome PullzAll tool. Next project will be to lift a large chunk of broken driveway concrete. And it will definitely be charged and in the car with me when winter snow and ice hits! ... show more

  • Used as snowmobile winch
I got my snowmobile hopelessly buried in deep, wet snow. We rode the other sled home and got this winch and extra gear. It spooled-out very slowly. It is supposed to pull 1000#, but it wouldn’t budge the ~500# sled (and all the heavy snow trapped in the carriage). I put a snatch-block on the setup and only then (with the load halved) with rocking and surging the engine, would the sled move forward an inch, then another, etc. It wasn’t perfect, but I’m glad I had it. I was worried that the battery would die, but I never did find that point after all that effort. I wanted a SnoWinch, but Warn discontinued that. I suspect that I will also be able to use this around the house to hoist heavy things. I replaced the wire rope with synthetic rope, and now it weighs 17Lb 2 Oz.....so, it is not light. I wish it had more than just 15ft. of line. WARN, BRING BACK THE SNOWINCH! ... show more
