Remove the blanket while it is still damp and gently stretch it to its original size. 4. Drape the heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod, but DO NOT use clothespins! 5. Wapaneus electric blankets are designed to make you feel soft and warm in the cold winter. Can the electric blanket be washed in the washing machine? Yes, you can. Please remember to disconnect power cord from wall BEFORE detaching control cord from the heated product. Then follow the User Guide (PDF) below. The indicator light on my controller is flashing. What should I do? Turn the controller off. Unplug the controller from the wall outlet. Unplug the controller cord from the product. Wait 30 seconds and reconnect making sure the arrows are properly aligned. Push control button until the temperature is on high. The product does not produce enough heat or does not work? If you don't feel heat, you can fold the product and test it for 30 minutes to see whether it works or not (But please make sure that the product is placed flat without being folded for normal use).

    • THIS BLANKET GETS H-O-T HOT!
I don't normally give reviews but I feel compelled to give credit where credit is due. This electric blanket is Fan-freaking-tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been searching for a GOOD electric blanket on Amazon for a long time now but the reviews of NUMEROUS electric blankets just don't get hot enough. The reviews for the WAPANEUS Electric Heated Blanket with 3 Heating Levels and Auto Shut Off, Soft Plush Heated Throw Blanket looked better than the rest and so I went for it. WOW! YES, this blanket gets hot with only 3 settings of low, medium and high and it heats up F-A-S-T FAST! At first I automatically went to the high setting which was GRRRRRRRRRREAT, as Tony the Tiger would say. I love the fact that it stays on for hours and doesn't shut off after an hour or so. As a result, I am now using the medium or even low settings which work just fine for all night. Make sure you find where the heating coils run up and down and that is the actual heating zone.     • Defective. Not worth it.

This blanket is so soft and is a beautiful red color, but there are a few problems with it already and I honestly wish I had purchased the other blanket I was looking at when I decided on this one. The first problem I noticed is that the heating is inconsistent, the part of the blanket closest to where the cord attaches always gets nice and warm while the rest of the blanket is only partially heated and partially not heated in other parts. The wiring also doesn’t stretch across the entire blanket, so there’s a few inches on both sides that aren’t heated too. I’m used to that with other heated blankets though so that’s not that big of a deal, but the inconsistent heat where the wiring is at is definitely annoying. The second issue I’ve noticed (which is much more frustrating) is that the remote control is malfunctioning already. If I accidentally bump into it, it will turn itself off, and it takes several tries to even get it to click back on, let alone to get it up to full heat. Sometimes when I try to turn it on, it will turn on to low with the first click, but then if I hit the button again to turn it up to medium, it will turn itself back off and I have to try again. It can take a few minutes just to get the remote to cooperate and be able to go to high heat without turning itself back off. As you can see in the video, it took a total of 33 clicks to get the remote to go to high! I just hope it’s not shorting out or something potentially dangerous—for this reason, I won’t trust the 4-hour shutoff and I always unplug it before I go to bed just to be safe. For the look and feel, I like this blanket, but I really don’t like that I’m already having problems with it before the first winter season with it is over. I hoped this was a BIFL purchase but unfortunately, it’s not. Update: my rating has been lowered to one star now since I can no longer get the blanket to reach the high setting anymore whatsoever, even after literally HUNDREDS of clicks on the remote at a time. Haven’t heard a single thing from customer service regarding my defective product either, would’ve been nice to get a replacement or return for the issue. The whole reason I bought this blanket was to use HIGH heat to warm my permanently cold feet up at night. I’d be better off just putting a blanket into the dryer to heat up for 5 minutes than using this now. Thanks for selling me a low quality defective product and not even having the decency to respond to your reviews! ... show more

I got the twin size and it is just the right size for myself. It is super soft, and I love the foot pocket at the bottom. It saves me from having to tuck the blanket under my feet. The first time I used it took a while to heat up, but it heats up much quicker since then. I jabe even been able to knock it down from 10 to 6. I like that it has 10 heat settings, the timer can be set between 1 and 12 hours. It will remember your settings so that you don't have to reset it each time you use it. The only down side is that the power cord is up at the top, so it's a bit awkward. ... show more

I'm not one to write reviews, but I really like this blanket. I go through a lot of them, they never seem to last long and I feel lucky if I get 2 years out of one. I've purchase expensive ones, hoping that would help with longevity only to be disappointed. So I decided to go cheaper & see what happens. I love the controller on this blanket, the buttons are easy to use & the lights don't stay on bright! I don't know why they all don't do this, but this is by far the best controller I've had on a blanket. It has a timer too, which is a necessity for me, I hate waking up at 2 am sweating. The blanket itself is nice & soft, no issues with the quality so far, but it's new. Time will tell, hoping it lasts because I love the controller! ... show more
