Remove the blanket while it is still damp and gently stretch it to its original size. 4. Drape the heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod, but DO NOT use clothespins! 5. The media could not be loaded. This blanket is so soft and is a beautiful red color, but there are a few problems with it already and I honestly wish I had purchased the other blanket I was looking at when I decided on this one. The first problem I noticed is that the heating is inconsistent, the part of the blanket closest to where the cord attaches always gets nice and warm while the rest of the blanket is only partially heated and partially not heated in other parts. The wiring also doesn’t stretch across the entire blanket, so there’s a few inches on both sides that aren’t heated too. I’m used to that with other heated blankets though so that’s not that big of a deal, but the inconsistent heat where the wiring is at is definitely annoying. The second issue I’ve noticed (which is much more frustrating) is that the remote control is malfunctioning already. If I accidentally bump into it, it will turn itself off, and it takes several tries to even get it to click back on, let alone to get it up to full heat. Sometimes when I try to turn it on, it will turn on to low with the first click, but then if I hit the button again to turn it up to medium, it will turn itself back off and I have to try again. It can take a few minutes just to get the remote to cooperate and be able to go to high heat without turning itself back off. As you can see in the video, it took a total of 33 clicks to get the remote to go to high! I just hope it’s not shorting out or something potentially dangerous—for this reason, I won’t trust the 4-hour shutoff and I always unplug it before I go to bed just to be safe. For the look and feel, I like this blanket, but I really don’t like that I’m already having problems with it before the first winter season with it is over. I hoped this was a BIFL purchase but unfortunately, it’s not. Update: my rating has been lowered to one star now since I can no longer get the blanket to reach the high setting anymore whatsoever, even after literally HUNDREDS of clicks on the remote at a time. Haven’t heard a single thing from customer service regarding my defective product either, would’ve been nice to get a replacement or return for the issue. The whole reason I bought this blanket was to use HIGH heat to warm my permanently cold feet up at night. I’d be better off just putting a blanket into the dryer to heat up for 5 minutes than using this now. Thanks for selling me a low quality defective product and not even having the decency to respond to your reviews!

The blanket is great. Comfortable, soft, definitely warm, and not too warm when using the right setting. Only thing I wish was different is the controls on the blanket. They’re kind of ugly, but they work good. Also amazing to find a heated blanket without Sherpa, which somehow is hard to come by.

I had been using a heated throw from a different company when the cord all of a sudden just quit (thankfully). When I found this one I was excited for the foot pocket, which I love. There are a couple of things I would change. 1. I would make Changing the temperature easier. It's not hard by any means but I do get annoyed having to push the button so many times before it changes (I know this might make me sound lazy), and 2. The foot pocket would be great if it had heating through the whole thing. I'm disabled and one issue I have is my feet feel so cold they hurt. Being in the blanket and not directly on the floor helps a lot but I still have to make sure the blanket is folded under my feet at times. I still gave it 5 stars because everything else is great. I would buy it again and I would recommend it to people.
