My niece wanted a weighted blanket for her birthday. I am one that reads every review on every product before I buy them. I decided to go with this blanket and also, based upon reviews, decided to get my husband one also since he has back problems and problems sleeping in general. Many many reviews say these weighted blankets really helped. Gave my niece hers for her birthday in November and she LOVES it, sleeps with it every night. My husband said it did not do anything at all for him. We returned his but my niece loves hers. NOTE: If you didn't know already, these are not like a heavy warm blanket, they are just a weighted blanket with no added warmth.

My husband has a difficult time sleeping due to a medical condition he has. I was hoping a weighted blanket would give him some level of comfort and help him not be so agitated during his sleep. So far it seems to be workiing. I was a bit worried about the weight of the blanket but in following the recommended weight to buy for his weight it seems to be about right. Product is well constructed . Does not come with a cover but since we will use it on top of another cover so another covering won't be necessary.

Bought this during black Friday after hearing about weighted blankets forever and it's good I guess. The blanket is slightly smaller for my queen bed but big enough for me. Its pretty heavy so gives you a comfortable feeling. Definitely can feel the beads inside. One reason I got it was because I thought it would help with my sleeping. Only time I seem to fall asleep is when I actually should be waking up 😞. Anyway it didn't really help much. I still like it and use it most of the day on my legs as it feels like a warm massage.

Do not go by your weight to buy these products. I choose the heaviest one seen unseen: a huge mistake. If possible , try to experience one for yourself and feel its weigh on YOUR body and ability to move. As big as I am, the 25lbs was way too heavy , it felt more like 50lbs and couldn’t turn comfortably: I had to buy a 15lbs one. I usually pull it up to my neck and will sleep like a baby(lol).

The weight, 15 pounds, is perfect for me. When I was little, I was given my grandmothers heavy down yes, heavy quilt to sleep with, and felt so good. I fell right asleep, even though they were monsters under my bed. I’ve always wanted to find a heavy top for my bed but nowadays, at least in the recent past everything was built on lightness. This weighted blanket quilt whatever you wanna call it is wonderful. I do recommend it.

The 20 lb weight is perfect, we bought a minkey cover for it although it doesn’t need a cover. Quality is great, the Queen is perfect size. Highly recommend- especially to help with anxiety. The weight gives you a safe feeling. Plus it’s super cozy.
