Great quality material used in this jacket. It is a heavy weight style winter jacket everything is as advertised as far as style goes but the inside is not lined with a quilted layer, it is just regular faux Sherpa. I do love the style and the fit is very comfortable I haven't tested it outdoors yet to see how shielding it is from the cold or to test the wind resistance but I am sure it'll serve it's purpose amazingly well. Great purchase and value for money spent. The sizing is pretty accurate but I would size up if you want to add a hoodie or sweater under it. The pockets are great and lined with a soft velvet type lining. This jacket seems very durable and I am happy with my purchase so far. Edit: this jacket has kept me very warm while being outside in 23 degrees so far this year

EDITED: after having this for a few days, just edited to say I'm definitely sticking with the 10; as it seems like a couple of layers underneath (a shirt and a sweater) just fit, and I don't know that a sweater would fit under an 8. Based on reviews I read, I got the size 10 jacket. (I'm 5'2, around 120 lbs, and wear a 34E). I may exchange for an 8, but the 10 is definitely doable, and would allow for layering over a big sweater. First impressions: heavyweight, warm, stylish, much higher quality than I expected. Pretty happy about those things, especially as I was concerned about buying a jacket without trying it on from a brand I don't recognize, and half expected it to be either made really poorly, too small in the chest or hips (where I carry most of my weight), or to smell funny (I've had these experiences before.) The arms ARE a little long (I don't mind at all, because I can keep my hands warmer that way). I'm sadder that the inner knit cuffs, a feature I love in coats, are for much bigger wrists than I have. They slide right over my fists, so, they won't really work for the purpose of sealing in heat at the wrist. That's part of the reason I'd like to try the size 8. Still, it's a bit nitpicky, and maybe if I wore really thick gloves, they'd go over those. I think the zipper is on the "wrong" side for women, but that's not a criticism so much as an quirky observation. Pros: Warm and heavyweight. (I love the fleecy interior, and the arms seem to be well padded, has those knit inner cuffs, and it has those side hand-warming pockets in addition to the regular snap pockets.) Well-made. (At least like it's not going to fall apart in a couple of months if I treat it well.) Definitely not too small. Stylish Cons: Actually a little bigger than expected in some respects: the jacket is thick with insulation and big enough at this size to allow layering, so it may not be as flattering as a jacket that was closer-cut, cuffs could be a little tighter for wrists, arms are pretty long, But again, these aren't terrible things in my view, and could have some advantages. I am really much happier with this coat than I expected, and will either keep the 10 or exchange for an 8 (again, edited a couple of days later to say I'm definitely keeping the 10!)

This is a good quality winter coat. I'm sure it would keep one warm. I like the length in the back. It hangs below the rear. The coat runs big. I wear a M in everything. (5'3 and 138lbs) That's what I ordered. After I tried it on, I took it back off and put a heavy sweater underneath. Still was too big. So, I'm sending it back. I knew I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it.

This is by far the best jacket/coat I’ve ever owned. It’s so warm…everywhere..sleeves, around the neck where you can snap it closed, the hood stays on in high winds and in falling snow/cold weather. You can cinch the coat around the waist with the cord which flatters your figure..it also has the heavy duty zipper to keep the cold out. You just can’t beat the price of $57.00 for a coat as nice as this. Just get it..you won’t be sorry.
