The media could not be loaded. I had an injury and havenāt been able to do anything for a while. Iām pretty much pain free for now so I said what the heck, do it now, while you can. So, I decided to ski. What to wear? Itās 14* and wind gust up to 40-60 mph?? I bought several things, including a snowsuit. Nothing felt quite comfortable and I wasnāt positivei about the jacket and ski pants keeping me warm but thatās what I decided to wear. It was icing and it froze to my googles, the wind blew my hat and googles off of my head but the jacket kept me warm. I didnāt layer up. I wore one thin 32* heat thermal from Costco and the jacket! I usually donāt give ratings but this jacket repelled the icy rain, kept me super warm and fit so comfortable that I could get myself up when I fell without it riding up my back and it still gave me a girly shape, not like a box. Iāve been wearing a 2x in most of my clothes. XL fit nicely and the 2xl was more roomy. So, I used the 2xl for skiing. I love it so much Iām keeping both jackets !!

Light weight, durable, very warm. Sometimes I throw the jacket on with only a bra on when walking the dog for a quick walk (never quick) still warm too the point you feel a lil sweat forming. The hood is big and the fur sometimes get in my eye. Not complaining about the hood becuz itās most useful in very windy conditions. For the cost it definitely serves its purpose. Itās also a nice looking jacket.

It is very boxy. It has no shape. It is not flattering to a woman's body. It is not as warm as it may look or the reviews may suggest. I'm in NY and winter has been pretty mild. I have worn this with a thermal shirt under my sweatshirt and a scarf to cover my neck as the neck opening is pretty wide and still felt cold just walking my dog. I wasn't freezing but I was not willing to stay out any longer than absolutely necessary either. I got caught in the rain and the coat kept me nice and dry. The hood is large and when buttoned makes the neck nice and snug. Amazon suggested an X-Large for me but in reading the reviews I went 1 size up. WRONG move. If you inputted your details correctly stick with the Amazon suggestion. In my opinion the design of the coat gives you plenty of room so there is no need to go higher.
