I ordered this Hanai freezer from Amazon, and it arrived with no problems, I plugged it in, and it wasn't getting cold enough to keep anything frozen. I contacted the seller, and she was very quick to respond. We tried a couple of troubleshoots but no help. It was still not freezing, so they had another in the mail to me pronto quick. I am happy to report that this one was getting freezer-cold within an hour. It's been working great and able to store all the dog food, plus any extra frozen food I buy. 5 cubic Ft. was the perfect size.

Freezer was delivered with scratches on the freezer door, but box was not damaged. Meaning it was sent to me already damaged. Most importantly freezer NEVER got cold or frozen anything. It remained at room temperature inside and out. This product was an absolute waste of time & purchase price.

UPDATE: The seller has been very responsive to this issue and has rectified t!! I would recommend them to purchase from!! Purchased this small freezer in January for extra storage due to a counter depth fridge/freezer. It holds a lot for the size, and for the first few months no issues at all. Working great. Then I notice the floor under the bottom right size of the freezer was wet!! I though maybe I had dropped some frost from a bag of frozen veggies. Then I went back and checked again and a larger pool of water had formed!! It has been dripping water ever since then. I've contacted the company as the freezer is only 5 months old, no reply yet. This appears to be a consistent problem now sadly. I need to keep a towel under that side to catch the water. I hope this is an easy fix, as the freezer is still maintaining it's temp. This drip could easily trash the floors underneath it.

the freezer does the job and works, but we were disappointed with all the damage. There are countless scratches and some serious dents. For $200, we should have spent the extra $30 and gotten an undamaged one from Costco. Wish we would have to save on our carbon footprint trying to ship this, which is the sole reason why we aren’t returning.
