So far so good. Just got the electric bill for using this for a month and the cost is 17c a day or 1kw hour of energy use per day. The thing rarely goes off so I was starting to wonder what kind of bill was coming and it is surprisingly quiet and incredibly efficient which too many others aren't so I am very pleased so far. It did not arrive in perfect condition and had an 8" dent on the lid but not so noticeable that it had to be returned, tho new products arriving damaged usually irk me bc I try to keep my stuff like new so that was disappointing bc there was no noticeable damage to the box top. There is plastic on the material they use to make it so you can try to take it off or leave it. So far, no signs ice build up has happened yet and I keep it just over #4 on the selector. I was pleasantly surprised when I received product. The size was absolutely perfect for me. Holds a lot for its size. The only downside is that it's not frost free. I haven't had the opportunity to defrost, so I can't comment on that process, but it freezes items rock hard and does not take up a lot of space. If you don't mind having to manually defrost, this product is wonderful. It does have a drain, so we'll see how that goes when the time comes. ... show more

This freezer is fantastic, it stays ice cold even at 3. Lots of room for a small sized freezer. Easy to unpack plug it in and use. Well priced and the brand seems to be liked me in all reviews I researched. What more can I say?!!!

    • Nice freezer but a few problems
This is a nice freezer so far. It works great, I just hope it will last. I say that because the price was so reasonable, I hope the quality is good. My big complaint about this freezer is that the plastic covering over the sides of the freezer is nearly impossible to get off. It would take me hours because it is so stuck on the surface, so I gave up at least for now. The top of the freezer did not have the plastic covering and arrived with some significant scratches. I don't care about this because the freezer is in the basement. The other issue is the instructions are very poorly translated. They are very hard to understand. I like to skim through instructions of appliances so I use it as suggested and also pay attention to the care instructions, but I was unable to get much out of the instructions because of the clumsy translation. ... show more

I received this freezer about 2 days ago and I was instantly impressed with how little noise it made and how well it worked. Although the reason I didn't give a five star review are because of 2 reasons. 1) it came leaking water, right out of the box, that doesn't seem like a good sign but I dont put too much thought into it. 2) This is the big reason, trying to rip off the plastic that encases the entire freezer is beyond difficult. It is as if they encased the freezer with plastic and then just put the freezer together afterward including the logo, the dials and the hinges. So if you try to take off the plastic, its almost impossible to take it off from those areas, therefore it is a huge eyesore since there is a ton of plastic still hanging in the cracks and its extremely time consuming and difficult to take it all off. ... show more
