Style: SL100 1800lbs Power Cage
I took a chance on this product, there were no reviews yet and it was listed as a new company. The most important hardware that comes with the product is the hardware that secures the rack to the wall. The only hardware it comes with for this purpose is sleeved expansion screws. These screws are solely meant for masonry/concrete walls, you cannot secure it this way into wood studs, the anchors will fail over time. I’m a pretty handy person and I know how to counter this issue with lags or a full bolted set up. The only additional problem to this quick alternative is the spacing for the lags or bolts would only allow for 2 at each point instead of the 4 that it calls for. The fix for this would then be for me to go buy lumber and put stringers on top and bottom to attach it at all points. So in conclusion, to make this cage ACTUALLY work, you’ll need additional stringers and 32 additional bolts which is easily an additional $50. If someone from this company can reach out to me to fix this problem I will edit my review with additional feedback. UPDATE: Seller has contacted about the hardware and made it right. I do appreciate this about companies. As for the workout rig, it’s by far super stable and and strong. I’m 300+ and deep into the 1000 lb club and this equipment is solid. This is by far the best system for cheapest with good cables. There is truly no need for a full footprint cage when you can get this and it take up 1/3 the area. There are a few missed steps in the instructions for installation, but the manufacturer designed this to only go one certain way which is actually pretty smart. I would def recommend this being a 2 person job but I did successfully build and attach this rig by myself without issues. Price point and functions made this the best choice. I’ll be purchasing another one for my fire station due to the small foot print. It will def hold up to heavy abuse.
