I spent hours researching for this, and this has been all worth it. Been using it a couple months now, and it works so incredibly well. This thing MOVES air, I rarely have to use the 3rd speed because it's so effective, and even then I can still carry on a conversation on 3 speed. Was pretty easy to install, I did end up adding 2 more screws in the motor area because I wanted it to sit more flush with the wall. My ONLY complaint, which I won't even dock a star for, is the blue protective film was installed before the parts were assembled, so it's really hard to get it out between the seems. I ended up taking a razor blade and cleaning up the sides to make it easier. ... show more

Looks way more expensive and functions well! Only disappointment is that the carbon filters were not included-- I need them since I have no outdoor venting. I contacted Vikio and was lucky to get a guy named Yuki. He told me all about the filters, even sent a link on how to affix them. I like the look of the hood fan and it has a good fan that gets the smell out. It’s a little louder than our last one but it works better also. It came with the blue sticker stuff all over and that was a job to get off. My husband had no issues installing it but he is an extremely good handy man.
