This Couch is worth the $680 (shipped) it cost. But not much more. PRO's: -It is comfortable. Akin to a firm memory foam mattress. It is Very firm on the base-pad when you first sit down, but quickly conforms to your body shape in about 10 seconds. -Great for snuggling (with your spouse and pets). The 2 halves can be either set with about a half inch gap right down the middle if you don't want them touching, or smushed right against each other so that it acts more like one nice wide loveseat. -Speaking of the Adjustable spacing, that adjustment is the only part of the entire assembly that needed a tool. The two halves are held together with two flat plates that use 4 Nuts and Bolts each. the Plates are slotted, and that's what allows you to set the gap. The nuts have teeth so only the provided Allen key is needed to tighten everything down. -The overall assembly was done in under an hour and mostly tool-less (the afore mentioned plate is the only exception). I am confident i could do it again in under 30 minutes a 2nd time. -The Motor for reclining is smooth and quiet. Honestly a nice surprise given the price point. -The headrest adjustment, being mechanical instead of powered like the main recliner mechanism, is perfectly fine and has 4 positions. It was the mean feature that led me to buy this couch over anything else. Cons: -The material feels abit "cheap", but not in any particularly bad way. Sort of a fuzzy faux leather. I say "cheap" because it feels alittle thin. My dogs have already put this through its paces endurance wise and no issues as of yet, but its still the first day. Time will tell. (if you don't have pets, its a non-issue for sure.) -The backrest I wish was a-little taller. But i wish the same thing for nearly EVERY couch and chair ive ever had. Im only 6ft, but i have a tall chest. So the Adjustable headrest more sets into my neck, then the back of my head. SIDE NOTE: This couch comes in 4 boxes, And is easy to repack. So IF you decide to return it, it would be painless to do. No real risk of being stuck with something you don't want. TL;DR: Its Worth about $700. Is of overall solid build quality. Fast and to assemble/disassemble. Easy to return if you don't like it. ... show more

It took longer to unpack it, than it did to assemble it. This thing is 10 times better than the original recliners in our rv. It actually goes back far enough for pleasant napping. So glad we bought the powered version and the wall hugging feature is exactly as described. We have infinitely more room for our bodies and feet yet.they do not protrude as far into the living space as the old ones. Finally, they are so quiet! ... show more

The customer service is good- the fact that I had to contact them after a month because the foot rests started sagging and the motor started going out on one side, not so good.
