I purchased these walkie-talkies for my 8 & 9 year-old boys to keep on hand as an alternative to their cell phones while they’re playing outside. They are awesome! We are amazed by the range distance. I can contact the kids at least at least half a mile away from home if not further~ the sound is loud and clear too! The Flashlight is a very handy addition especially during the winter hours when it gets dark earlier. We’ve had ours for a couple of months and they’re still running on the same batteries.
