This bag would be perfect for anyone with a small dog unless you don't pack any food. I can fit my cell phone and cards in the zippered pouch. I can also fit a water bottle in the side pocket. The dish I bought elsewhere clips on the side, so not a big deal. My problem is I have a large breed mutt. I can fit a bone and treats inside or a bone and food. Not much room for a tennis ball. I really like this bag though, so I am keeping it. It will be fine for puppy training class and short walks. I still love it. It’s in great condition, for being used on 75% of our walks over the past couple years. It’s good quality. I usually attach a dog doo tube, pepper spray, and silicone dog bowl to the sides of the bag. Inside the bag, I have Paw wax, tissues, treats, flashlight, hand sanitizer, and utility knife. Until I purchased this dog walking bag, I was miserable on pocketless days trying to balance a 110 lb dog, my multi-ringed key ring with all my keys on it and poop bags and paper towels to wipe the drool!!! This bag is so comfortable to wear across my shoulders. I like it high so that my dog doesn’t try to nip at it, but the straps are adjustable. The interior is spacious enough to carry all the aforementioned items plus a bottle of water and my walllet! The waterproof zipper compartment for cellphones is a thoughtful design idea. The idea of the poop bags being fed through a slit in the bag sounds cool, but I am not a fan of the cheap sample poop bags included in the purchase. Of the 3 sample bags I opened, they ripped before I actually picked anything up with them. Those things are too flimsy to be of use and I can’t risk getting smear on my hands so I will not use them.
