    • Poor packing from the sender. It came in with the ball socket end all dented out of shape.
This shipping issue could be solved with a wood cover plate and a little extra shipping tape. Other than the packaging from the sender, the product worked well.

For Chevy Silverado 1500 V6 Cat Pipe Assembly: Giving it one star because it is not direct fit (OEM) as advertised, and it does not mate with the walker flex pipe 54944 that it's supposed to connects to. It should tighten with the walker 36522 clamp but it wobbles around with about a 1/4 inch of play. The clamp will not tighten because the spherical ball outlet is not the same as OEM. OEM has a ridge that engages the clamp. This pipe does not tighten on their own product using their clamp? They never assembled the 3 pieces in the factory to check the fit? WTF!!! I will say the pipe and cats themselves seem to be of higher quality than other units out there. The pipes have OEM style and diameter.5 stars for that aspect. This is not a bolt on OEM replacement. If you can deal with the added expense and time of welding and adapters this should work fine but you are locked into that for the life of the truck. Quick note on the photos: You can see in picture one the difference in height between the female spherical ball receiver and the male side (The outlet side of the cat assembly.) Those surfaces have to be equal in order for the band clamp to tighten properly. It locks on the female side but not the male side resulting in the loose connection shown in picture two. So far so good. Installed on a Saturday & currently driven almost 50 miles with no check engine light yet! Shipping condition left a bad taste in my mouth but seems like a good quality replacement cat. If it would’ve been shipped in a box without stickers attached directly to it & I didn’t have to hammer one of the flanges back out it would get five stars. ... show more

Direct fit for my 2014 GMC Sierra. I bought this because my truck did not pass emissions and after installing it. Cleared my P0420 and P0430 codes right away and was able to use my remote start again. Passed emissions the next day. Make sure to buy new seals!
