2015 Equinox LT resonator blew at the weld, so cut it out and had to use 6 adapter pieces and u-clamps (5 - 2.5" and 1 - 2.25" ) from auto-zone to get it in the pipe because the inlet side is curved AND has flat parts - wtf! Then the outlet side has a welded hanger ~ 5 inches from the resonator when cutting the old out flush... what a pain. Couldnt use sleeve clamps on either side as a result. However, my exhaust is as quiet as the day I bought it and the auto-zone trip was under $50 so this was a stellar buy vs a mechanic shop. ... show more

    • Seams arent welded solid
Muffler is inexpensive (comparatively) and quiet BUT the seams of the body/end caps are only crimped together. this allows for air and condensation to leak out of this area. Being stainless it shouldnt cause an issue for premature wear BUT this is the area my OEM muffler rotted out so slightly skeptical. Granted the OEM lasted 120k miles so if this lasts the same its not a big deal but time will tell ... show more
