I think these probably are sized right, but I still need to look elsewhere for what I want. I am a size 24 with hefty legs and these were not as loose as I like. I also have long legs so these hit me mid-thigh and I prefer longer and looser. They were comfortable, but I knew with any length of time in motion-my legs would rub. They are stretchy and I liked that they were on the thinner side of sweat shorts without being thread-bare thin. They seemed made well and I loved that they had pockets. I think if I were closer to a size 22 these would fit perfect. and they would be perfect for me with a few more inches in length. Bought these for youth basketball practice. My granddaughter loves them because they are soft and comfortable. I love them because they are affordable and don't shrink, fade or pill in the wash. They are also long enough to meet the school dress code which requires shorts to be at mid-thigh. They have been washed many times and still look great. ... show more

These shorts fit as expected. They're comfortable. I'm happy with the loose legs and the length is just right for me. They're a little clingy which I don't like, but not so much that I won't wear them. The weight of the material is good. Just right for summer. They don't wrinkle right out of the dryer which is great. The elastic of the waistband isn't so stiff that it's uncomfortable like a lot of other shorts. ... show more

These are very nice, comfortable, sweat shorts. Not too heavy or too light weight, just right for whatever weather the throws at you. They are well made with good, quality material and they have a great, stretchy waistband and they are loose fitting which is great because they don’t cling to you. And the material is soft and such that it’s not going to stick to you when it’s warmer outside. Very nice shorts with really good color and fit, what great value! I am 5’4” 230 lbs and I got the xl. It’s fits like a dream. I absolutely love these shorts. I actually bought a bunch of pairs. They are comfy and soft, about a 7.25 inch inseam, and are great for going outside in the summer or lounging around at home. I even workout in them which is great. I don’t think they are too thin or thick, I enjoy them as they are. The only thing is the orange shorts are NOT the cute burnt orange like they are in the picture. Extremely short looking they look like they're knee lint long and the photograph but they're way above the knee they're comfortable for wearing under your clothes they're comfortable for wearing for everyday tired of sleep in but I wouldn't wear them in public unless you like extremely short shorts

These shorts are wonderful! The leg length is just right for older ladies who want to wear shorts but don't want to show too much leg, falls about 3 inches above the knee. The waistband is at the waist and measures about 1-3/4 inches with a drawstring to allow the waist to be cinched in if necessary. There are two pockets, one on each side just below the waistband. The fabric is a poly/cotton blend, lightweight but not flimsy, they wash well and are colorfast with no shrinkage. Per the attached tag I didn't put them in the clothes dryer but rather let them air dry. No wrinkles and they dried pretty fast. I like shorts a bit larger so I got size medium (I'm 5'6", about 105 lb) and they're long enough from waistband to inseam which is where I have trouble with shorts/pants fitting comfortably. If you like a closer fit, getting your regular size would probably be a better choice. These are quite loose in the leg and look like what used to be called culottes, sort of a cross between shorts and a skirt. I love these shorts and plan on ordering more. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised of the nice quality and fit of these shorts. They wash very well and didn't wrinkle. I prefer my "outdoor work shorts" to be loose fitting so I ordered the next larger size and am glad I did. The length is great as well. Plenty of stretch in the waist and the band is thick enough to stay in place without rolling. The pockets are roomy. These shorts are flattering enough to wear as regular everyday shorts.
