I decided to upgrade the exhaust on my Mercedes E550 Twin Turbo V8 Coupe and used an X-Pipe and went with these Flowmaster Super 10's. I was quite surprised with the sound, as it's actually not too loud and has a nice mellow rumble. Easy to install and highly recommended! There is a slight drone presence but nothing so loud that it'll give a headache. Just more of a comfortable hum at highway speeds. The car is sound dampened enough that it doesn't bother me on road trips. As for the fit it was perfect. I had a hard time finding a set of mufflers that would fit in the unique placement for this car that wasn't $2000 or more for a set of mufflers. I bought this thing for my 2000 Silverado, I had a thrush welded with my cats still on and it was nice but wasn't loud like I wanted it, installed the super 10 and it was loud but then I decided to delete my cats and straight pipe them and all I can say is if you want your truck exhaust to scream Murica!! Every time you hit the pedal than this is it! I shake buildings when I drive by my friends can hear me from a mile away, my neighbors little punka$$ dog that's always barking when I start walking to my truck he knows what's up runs all up in his dog house with his tail inbetween his legs. This thing screams like a raped date! Let me tell you this thing makes panties moist, and their boyfriends just stare in envy. Who needs eharmony just rev your engine and take his girl, they know what's up! Neighbors ha! My neighborhood used to be all quiet and peaceful but that's boring I wake them jokers up every day at 4 am let em know murica is calling time to make s!$@ happen! Bottom line if you want to sound like pure patriotism then this is the muffler for you! ... show more

Installed on my '13 5.0 f150. After first install, very very "crackley" and loud (I wanted loud, so perfect for me). After about 500 miles the crackle from the exhaust has toned down dramatically and the loudness is still there but got a little deeper. For my first flowmaster product, I am very pleased. I don't think you can beat it for the price you pay. I deleted the resonator, mind you, so that will have a MAJOR impact on the final outcome. I cut out the resonator, replaced with 2.5" pipe, and welded the muffler in place. Only 3" section is tailpipe after muffler, sound great. Cold starts in the summer are loud, winter is probably going to really irritate my neighbors. Whoops. Would recommend this product. ... show more

Spend the little extra money and get flomasters and not the knock offs I have these flomaster 10s sitting about a foot behind the cab side by side with nothing behind them just the mufflers themselves and you would not believe the way it changes the sound gives it a nice throaty low tone and you really feel it in your chest have always loved flowmaster and I will stand by them! Wish they would sponsor me id put them on everything lol ... show more

Traded my 2000 Civic EX for a 2007 Civic Si and I put this on it with a Flowmaster tip. O..M..F..G.., this muffler is loud..not obnoxiously loud but pretty close. It doesn't have any bumblebee sounds or a high pitch raspy wet dog fart sound like a fart cannon. Its got alot of bass and rumble to it, and it stays that way even when VTEC kicks in. Drone is pretty bad at 1500-2700 RPMs but above and below that it's somewhat manageable. When I'm getting up to speed conversation has to wait until I'm at cruising speed. My Civic is all stock with this being the only mod to it thus far. It still has the stock header, cat, and resonator. Only mods I'm gonna add are a Cold Air Intake and a High Flow Cat and I'm leaving it alone. ... show more
