Overall, I am highly satisfied with this product. After reading several other reviews, I was concerned about the assembly process. More specifically, the amount of time it would take to put together, and whether or not the included doors would function as designed. That said, my wife and I were able to assemble this unit in about three hours. While this is a little long, I attribute it to the fact that there are a lot of screws, dowels, and cam locks that are installed by hand. This alone takes a certain amount of time. The instructions were clear and direct and easy to follow. When the package was delivered, it was definitely a heavy box and required the use of a dolly to bring it into the house, because I was working alone. Everything arrived in tact and undamaged. All parts in the package are clearly labeled with numbered stickers, which made organizing pieces for installation a bit easier. Once assembled the end, result was consistent with the pictures presented at purchase. The only notes I have for installation was that I needed slightly more wood glue for the included dowels. I also had to make minor adjustments to the door hinges to help them align correctly. If I had just attach the doors, there would have been capping, but the style of hinge allows for correcting adjustments, which solved any potential issues.

After reading through multiple reviews and being on the fence for a few months on this one, finally ordered this when there was a sale. It's beautiful and fits a lot of things. The doors are soft close. The delivery guys did a great job of assembling it and placing it where it needed to go. No scratches, doors aligned perfectly, drawers open/close smoothly. However, it took over 2 hours for 2 delivery guys to assemble it so would highly recommend paying for installation. We generally assemble most of our furniture but this one is not easy so unless you are really into working with furniture and hardware, order it with installation covered.

Paid way to much for this but I fell in love with it and nothing else compared as I shopped for a sideboard. I ordered it June 27 and it arrived July 15. Opened the box and found the instruction booklet. Everything seemed to be packed well. Nice and tight with protection at each level. There are several pieces and so I marked them off one by one as we took them out of the box. So excited to finally get this piece and be able to admire it in my home. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen soon. Board #2, which is the base of the sideboard is spilt, cracked, broken…. Along with my heart. I’m super bummed. Laying the board flat on the floor, it’s also twisted. I submitted a request right away to get the board replaced. One spot at their website said 1-2 days response. Another spot said 3-5 days. The automated email I got after submitting said 7-10 days because they are backlogged. So now I have it completely unpacked and cluttering my house for who knows how long. On top of that, I don’t dare throw out the box and packaging in case I have to ship the whole thing back. Just really not pleased and hope the manufacture will get me the replacement part super fast. It just cost too much to have this kind of issue. I’ll update after dealing with the manufacture. UPDATE: I sent a message through the manufacturer’s link on July 15th. An email response finally came on August 1st. The response said the part is out of stock. “Per our arrangement with Amazon they have asked that when a part is out of stock, we direct their customers to them for further assistance.” So I’m not the manufacturer’s customer I guess. As far as the product goes, we put it together during this waiting time because we hopped the board would get replaced. The quality is terrible. I don’t see how it’s suppose to hold 150 lbs. Put together, it’s a little wobbly and I’m not sure the doors are cut big enough. It’s like they are a 1/8 inch too short all the way around. We have adjusted them several times. The drawers are with the cheapest drawer pulls I’ve ever seen. There are sooooo many parts. It took two of us almost 6 hours to put it together. I contacted Amazon who was willing to either give me discount or I could return the item for full refund. Because I no longer had the shipping box, I couldn’t return it. This lead into a whole issue. If the board is not going to be replaced, I don’t want broken furniture that cost me over $650.00 sitting in my dining room. That is just not okay with me. I had to keep not accepting this resolution. Finally, I got to someone who said let me call the manufacturer and see what they can do. After all, it’s on them to begin with. They confirmed they don’t have the part. They can’t even replace the entire unit until November. How can you still have this item for sale when you can’t fill the order? Amazon is making it right and has issued a special order pickup where I don’t have to disassemble the item and find a box big enough. Thanks to Amazon for this resolution because this is what is fair to me. When I purchased this order, I read the available reviews. The ones that discussed broken parts or their experiences dealing with the manufacturer was not in the review list. Even though they had already been submitted. It’s as if they were hidden. I have filed a complaint against the manufacturer and requested their items not be sold on Amazon. Who knows how far that will go. I demand better quality especially when I’m spending this much money. Walker Edison product is garbage! Their customer service is garbage! Do not buy!

I purchased this to go along the wall in my entryway. It is a decent piece. It looks cheaper in person. It’s the front door design that throws me off a bit. I personally think it should be cheaper. I believe we paid around $550 or so. I imagine this gives $400 at best. The cam locks were flimsy- so many of them broke during assembly but there were extras. Overall it’s sturdy and a decent piece of furniture for it’s purpose. It’s fairly sturdy, the doors and drawers are soft close, which is a nice feature, the size is nice. I chose to keep it because it was hard enough to find a solid black entryway table that I didn’t have to pay more than I would have liked to. It’s moreso for “aesthetics” anyways so it’s serving it’s purpose. I would recommend the item but would hope that someone could spend less than I did for it.

My daughter and i were moving along on putting this piece together until we had to installed the hinges. - it took about 1.5 hrs to put these hinges on ... NOT GOOD FOR A PIECE OF FUNITURE THAT COST OVER $500.00 !!! I believe that the doors will not property closed b/c the placement of where to apply the hinges are incorrect - in my opinion - The hinges should be pre- installed by the manufacturer on the doors - If I could have stop in that moment :( this piece of furniture would have been returned - but all is well: it is now put together and it looks great but I had to take a rubber hammer to bang on the hinges a little to get them into place that the doors will closed better- not properly " that the gap in the doors will not be seen" I have put together many of pieces of furniture but this was the worst b/c of the hinges - if we did not have to install the hinges - it would have been put together in about 2 hrs. not 4hrs. I will not say that I will not purchase another large piece of furniture from AMAZON b/c the delivery was great and the guys took careful steps to deliver w/o any harm to the piece - this is a manufacturing problem. I will say this also... DO NOT buy this piece of furniture if you are an amateur !!! oh, and you will need 2 people to put this together. Please, do not attempt to do it alone - it is a very heavy piece and you may harm yourself b/c it will take two people to lift it to the platform "base" if you decide to purchase this sideboard " which is a beautiful piece" I know that you will enjoy it once it's put together.. GOOD LUCK !!!

I’ve been looking for a sideboard for my dining area for some time. I fell in love with this buffet when I saw it on Wayfair. Amazon was almost $200 less so I ordered from them. First, I will say that it was packaged very securely. It took my husband (an engineer) and I over 8 hours to assemble. I would recommend if you are purchasing to have it preassembled. It is worth it! As you can see from the photos, it is a beautiful piece. Mine does have a small nick in one of the drawers and the door need adjusting so that when closed they meet. I will contact Walker Edison for some touch up paint.

The media could not be loaded. For the amount money spent on this buffet, you would imagine that the quality would be great. The doors are not measured appropriately!! It’s a pain in the butt to assemble and you can’t know until the last part of assembly if they’ll fit. Then to return the item you must take it BACK apart and repackage in original packaging. Which who is going to save that! Amazon was helpful in regards to trying to mitigate my frustration. When it came to the quality. Customer service itself for the company was great. I requested a replacement drawer piece and it was promptly sent. If you are a person with attention to detail like I am, this isn’t a fit for you. I find the gaps extremely noticeable. And it’s unfortunate because the color is beautiful

This is a beautiful piece but it was a bear to put together and the doors aren’t measured properly so there is a small gap on each on once their installed. Don’t have a picture handy but saw after we put it together that several others had the same problem. It’s a nice piece though but a little high priced for the value.

This is very hard to put together and get everything straight and matched up. Some pieces were stripped. The doors are a bit uneven. I think it’s too expensive for the quality. However I like the look of it.

I was really excited to get this piece of furniture. The setup was mostly standard but the glass doors were next to impossible to attached, and even after that they are uneven and some won’t close all the way. The quality of the material is poor and I’ll have to keep a cloth of some sort on top of it to prevent damage. You can’t set something down (even lightly) without high risk of leaving a mark. I had pieces that came with scratches. I contacted the seller first before this review, and haven’t heard anything in over a week. After I bought the item, the price went down to $400. If you can find this piece for $250, I’d say go for it. But absolutely not worth $600.

The media could not be loaded. We were so excited to finally have found something to put our alcohol in and reduce the amount of pantry space it was taking up. It’s a beautiful color and the handles aren’t as gold as advertised which was perfect because I was going to replace them but now I decided to keep them since it looks rustic. However, it was super difficult to build, it was scratched and damaged when we were unpacking it. We kept everything on the foam layers it came with until we needed that specific piece so we could prevent it from getting more damaged. Overall it completed our dining room space with a splash of color while still keeping the rustic theme going. It was too much of a hassle to return it, the box was waaay too heavy to go through the trouble of returning it. None the less, we’re happy with how it looks as long as you’re not looking at it from an angle (visible scratches). USE DOWEL/WOOD GLUE. The tube they provide is not enough. My husband had to go buy wood glue in the middle of us building it and we were only half way through building it. It WILL make it super sturdy.

This piece of furniture is beautiful and sturdy! We are currently using it in dining room to store crafts and some kid items. Small cubbies work great in it. I have 10 medium plastic skinny cubbies underneath and paper and coloring books in drawers. It holds more than I thought! The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the assembly!! Ugh!! With 2 people it took us 5 hours to assemble!! Not joking!! I did put glue on all pegs. Also there was nothing in directions about adjusting the soft close doors to fit the area. If you do not know about this like me, I figured out you have to play with the tension of screws on the hinges of doors. Last thing, I also got rid of the pegs/sliders that were given and placed a bunch of sticker felt sliders on bottom and it slides beautifully on my wood floors!! Soo if you are patient and have help it’s a must buy!!

We bought this table for our entryway. The size and color were just what we were looking for. We assembled it in 2 evenings. Paint was scuffed on 2 pieces, but not in noticeable areas. A recommendation for buyers, get some wood glue before assembly. The glue provided was not enough for all the dowels. Overall, a nice table for our needs.
