This dresser is just beautiful! I’m very impressed with the quality. I initially looked at west elm, but this one is almost identical to the one there, for much less. It’s pretty sturdy, so I believe it will hold up well over time. Assembly was easy, but time consuming due to the number of pieces. I was jealous of the reviewer who built this beast in 4 hours. I’m not great at assembly, but I was able to do this buy myself with the exception of having the hubby help me stand it upright. The instructions were super easy to follow and understand, and every single hole lined up perfectly. Even with the time commitment, I am impressed enough that I would happily buy this again, and I love the final product.

It’s a solid wood dresser on the cheap, so don’t expect miracles. The drawer pulls are wood & not metal sliders, so they’re a little stiff. It’s a good size, color is a nice rich dark brown, and drawers are a decent size. NOTE: Assembly instructions were AWFUL & it took about 2 hours to do w/ an electric screwdriver. If you buy this, please buy a $20 electric screwdriver as well.

Ok first thing—assembly is not for the faint of heart! It took me over 6 hours! Mind you, it’s not hard—the directions are great. It’s just extremely time consuming! I turned on my favorite podcast and got to work! The end result was AWESOME! I love the contemporary style, and it blends in to my bedroom decor perfectly. The drawers roll on wheels which make it easy to open and close and this dresser made of real wood—not cheap MDF or particle board like most in this price point! Very pleased with my purchase!

Do not buy this. I'm not kidding. I'll get into more detail but if all you read is the first few lines of this review, please let it convince you to not buy this. If you decide to buy it anyway, make SURE you have an electric drill and about 4 hours with nothing to do. Here is how assembling this piece of garbage went: -Started off not great. There are a ton of pieces and they aren't super well made so the little dowls will either not fit in or fall right out. -30 minutes in - I hate all my life choices. I have found that there are NO PILOT HOLES in any of these pieces which means I was HAND DRILLING these suckers in with my screwdriver. -1hr in - I have started drinking. I seriously consider going and buying a drill but I carry on. My hand is on fire from the screwdriver. -2hrs in - I truly realize what a piece of junk this thing is. Nothing fits *quite* right together. I was a Lego kid growing up and the way nothing actually lines up or sits properly is killing my soul. My hand is still on fire. -3hrs in - I am putting the drawers together and am getting viscerally angry. The drawers don't have tracks, just wood pieces to guide them and THEY DON'T FIT RIGHT. So I have one drawer that I literally cannot open once it's closed. WHY DOES NOTHING FIT TOGETHER PROPERLY. I had to take a break to ice my hand. -4hrs in - I finish it. I seriously consider lighting it on fire. It wobbles and I can't figure out how to make it stable. The drawers scrape as they open and close (well 5 scrape, 1 still doesn't open). The quality of the material is so crap that I've somehow dented the top. I hate everything and everyone. Thanks for going on that journey with me. it was cathartic. Please know that this thing is definitely not worth $300 and 4 hours of your day. I wish I had just driven the couple hours to Ikea and got something quality for half the price. I still might burn this thing to the ground out of spite. I'll keep you updated.

Not worth over $200-$250. It fits my needs in terms of space and aesthetic, so I will not be returning. Main complaint: this dresser is made out of pine and particle board. Pine is a very soft wood and will scratch/ding easily. This dresser will not be durable over a long period of time. It is relatively easy to put together with two people, despite having to utilize a drill, screwdriver, hammer, and Allen wrench. This will take some time to assemble. Overall, I like the way it looks too much to return, but it could be better.

I really like this dresser. It took me 2.5 hours to build, but I am fairly experienced in building Ikea style furniture (I've been a personal handyman for my family and friends). It's real wood and the caramel color is really beautiful and compliments my mid-century style apartment. I have a few warnings and build tips for people looking for help! First is that the wood is fairly soft, so make sure you don't accidentally drop your drill while building, as it could leave a small dent (I did this a few times on the inside of the dresser while screwing it together). Second is you ABSOLUTELY need a drill. I don't see how someone could only use a screwdriver to put this together (maybe that's why it's taken some people 8 hours to build). All of the parts that use screws (pretty much all of them) don't have pre-drilled holes so using a screwdriver would be a lot more work. I know the instructions say not to use power tools, but as long as you keep the drill on a lower setting I had no issues. Just be careful not to go too fast and splinter the wood. Other than that it's a great dresser! The drawers sometimes are a little hard to pull out but I'm sure they will loosen over time.
