Not that hard to put together, but would probably be easier if we had received all the parts. Our set didn’t come with the shelf support pins, so be sure to check before you unbox everything. So yes, you get what you pay for and it’s very clear once you open the box that this is made of cheap particle board and breaks easily… HOWEVER, if you live in a home where this piece will not be abused by pets or children, you should be good to go. The wood pattern isn’t repetitive so it kind of helps it give off a more real appearance. Records fit perfectly in here, the doors are soft-close, and the shelves are adjustable, and it’s the perfect size, really. I was able to put this together by myself in about 2 hours but I did need a 2nd person to help me put on the doors. ... show more
