I bought these in 2021 hoping that they’d hold up to the wear and tear of a busy household. We have 2 dogs, and a grandson who visits a few times a week. We had a booster seat strapped on one for 2 years- lots of spilled food on all chairs, 1 dog who is constantly jumping up on the chairs. These still look great after years of abuse. I love these chairs and the whiskey color is perfect for our kitchen. The chairs come packed very well. The instructions are extremely clear and easy to follow. I was able to put both of them together in under 10 minutes. I am attaching a photo of myself 5'8" and my daughter 55" for reference. I personally like that they do not swivel because with young kids that seems to be the reason our olds ones didn't last. They wipe off nicely vs. microfiber staining. They are very comfortable for how thin the cushions are. The only thing that could make them better would be to have the option to make them higher for bar height. These are super easy to put together, are super comfy and look very high-end quality. The color is darker than some other reviews pictured but I like it being a little darker and not super blue. I pictured next to a navy blue rug I have to show comparison. The height matches up to our island perfect, no wobbles. I’m glad I splurged a little on these, they’re really nice!
