I was skeptical on how it was going to be from the reviews, but took a chance and everything showed up great. The assembly was done with both my husband and I since our two boys 5 and 3 1/2 "try" but reverse help. It did not take long at all to assemble. My 3 1/2 year old loves it. It is tall enough to have a fort underneath and short enough that I'm not too worried about the height. It is very sturdy for them! I would not suggest an adult climbing in the bed. So we bought another one for our 5 year old, since the 3 1/2 year old needed out of the convertible crib immediately. The second bed came with a defect on one of the posts. I was worried contacting stores 123 because they may be out for the holidays. They responded that day Christmas eve and even on New years eve. They kept me informed all the way through (till delivery of the new bed) and even gave me options right away. The new bed once they contacted the manufacturer was sent out right away and delivered within a week. Stores 123 exceeded my expectations for what a company would go through to replace a defective product: They responded within 24hrs, went out of their way to keep me informed even during the holiday season, and made sure I was happy with the delivery of the replacement product. The boys are so very happy with their beds. Thank you so very much Stores 123 (especially Amari). Highly recommend this bed as well as the company for its outstanding customer service. ... show more

It’s super adorable. My highly attached to me toddler loves it and slept in it alone the first night. Very easy to assemble. My only disappointment is that there is a crack in the wood on one piece - it really bothered me but I was not about to pack it up again and return. So it seems to be holding up well anyway. For the price, it’s worth it and I love that it’s not low to the ground. I don’t like my kids to be close to the floor. Love it though. ... show more

I usually don't review, but wow. Really impressive build for the price. All solid wood. Wood is light and soft, but it is clear, and sufficiently overbuilt to be very sturdy. I even appreciate that it's light enough to be easy to push across my carpeted floor. Hardware is solid, over engineered - way stronger than other furniture I've bought online (I'm looking at you Ikea). No worries about this being sturdy. Paint is well done. Pleasant off-white. Absolutely no complaints. And it's a bonus that it's not made in China. ... show more

    • Not worth the time, go for IKEA. Misleading reviews, bad product, figuring out support?

The reviews were misleading. The parts were not designed properly: 1. The wooden slats part #23. The defect in this part was the short length of the slats. The slats did not go end to end form part #41 to #44. I meticulously tried to balance/center them end to end. When I drilled holes the screws tore the wooden support on parts #41 and #44 . The slats part number 23 is not string wood. 2. The part #12 (ladder's side rail). This part has a misaligned hole. To use this part I had to buy a drill and then shift the existing hole. This is a design flaw. I had to pay the price by spending a couple hours spending on this. I'm not happy with this purchase, this assembly was supposed to be set it and forget it. I have requested parts #41, 44 and 23 to the manufacturers support on Sept 25. The heavy weight of the product make it undesirable to return. Not worth the risk and time. ... show more

A reason I got the bed was due to reviews saying it was easy to assemble. Not in our case. Multiple screws were stripped because of poor fit. So much so the Allen wrench became stripped. Overall, it SEEMS sturdy, but this is night one. Can't say I would recommend.
