I read many of the reviews for this item, and I am intrigued by so many of the comments. I have used this massager for over 3 years (yes, it has lasted over 3 years....) - the first one was a gift purchased from a local pharmacy, and bought a second one here on Amazon for a family member, too. It is small enough to position right where you need it the most, and large enough to make an impact in muscle and tension relief. The heat feature sure feels good, too. I use it when I am sitting in my recliner, primarily for my lower back and hip pain, but have also used it for neck and mid-back issues, too. I am still so surprised when I sit down to use it with some serious pain and knots in my back and hip, and after an hour or so, when I get up out of the chair, my pain is essentially gone and my mobility has returned. It's like a little miracle each time I use it. Please consider giving it a try if you have targeted areas that need attention...It's been a life-line for me for quite some time. ... show more

    • Stop working! Buyers Beware!
Bought this for my mom as Christmas gift. She used is a few times and then it sat unused for a month while she was in hospital. Now it won't work. Nothing, no heat, no massage, no Nothing. Open up zipper pouch all wires are still connected? That is $50 dollars for a few uses. Don't buy this product.

    • It’s loud!
I really like this product. I’ve bought others that just don’t last. This one is much lighter on your shoulders and so far has held up great. The only drawback is it’s so loud. Even on my neck it’s hard to hear over it. I’d buy it again though.

    • Helps more than my back!
I bought this for my back and shoulder pain, which was covered by the FSA store, and I used my card which was a plus. I was so pleasantly surprised when I started using this because it was incredibly helpful and felt so nice on my back and shoulders but also I was able to lie back on it for a deeper kneading effect and was able to do the same with my neck and head, which helps my headaches too. Definitely recommend this purchase if you suffer from any type of back, neck, shoulder, or even headache pain. It also has heating I did with it, which you can turn off or on, and you can switch the kneading pattern with two settings. ... show more

I purchased this because most of the neck massagers do not reach far enough down to where I have the damage. This massager is easy to move to exactly where I need it C7 on my spine and I can pull it tight enough so you get the real benefit of the deep kneading power. At first I was concerned about it being corded but I'm not going to be moving around when I'm using it anyway and I don't have to fuss with recharging it. It is very well made the heat is optional which I like sometimes I'm too hot to use that. This is the best my neck has felt since I paid a ton of money for a deep tissue massage. ... show more

Purchased this in late January 2023. Not working any longer mid June. When it works it is very helpful in giving relief. It is unfortunate that you would have to spend over $50.00 every few months to replace a shoddily made product.
