Great pads for 08 F150. Did some preventative maintenance on my 08 that doesn't see alot of miles. Mine is 2wd, so it has a 1 piece hub rotor which is very expensive to replace. On my other vehicles I usually do brakes and rotors and let them go for the maximum mileage. I had 30k on my original pads which were about 1/2 worn so I was somewhat hesitant to replace them. However, I had a slight pulsation with the originals and although they were wearing evenly I could see the edges of the rotors were becoming slightly grooved. I did not machine the rotors and basically replaced the pads. Fast forward a few hundred miles and my brakes work awesome. Sure stops, no pull or pulsation, and minimal dust. I would rate these as being at least a 50% improvement over the stock pads and will highly recommend the TQ Semi-Metallic pads. I have Wagner TQ ceramic on my other vehicles and wish I would have done these Semi-Metallic pads. ... show more

What a deal...$25 and they look (are manufactured) great. I guess the pad is 1/2 thick and the kit went on like a champ. My truck didn't need those wire things (and didn't get them in my kit) . I mean they didn't come off my truck so I didn't care that they were missing? But tickled with price and quality so I bought another set for other end of truck. I guess if I have one question it's about all the product numbers..do they have to match?? I wanted semi metallic front and rear and that's what I bought irrespective of product number..... The wagner brake pads are easily double in price at out local parts stores..good deal ... show more

Got these put on my '04 Ford F-150 Supercrew along with some new rotors - I got the truck used, but after the rotor change and these brake pads (I felt like it was time)...the truck stops smoother than my car does right now. I've used ThermoQuiets in another truck (ceramics that time) with the same success - I'll probably be sticking with these for all my future brake work. ... show more

    • Tabs were too long. Partially due to excess coating.
The tabs were longer than oem. Only 1 of the 4 pads were able to be installed without grinding the tab to match oem. Once installed the initial test drive was fine. What would have been a 1/2 hour job turned into 1.5 hours due to trying to get the pads in, before giving up and getting the grinder.

Very satisfied with these Wagner pads. They were for a 2008 Ford F150. Brakes are better than the OEM pads. They do not dust as badly and they have a firmer feel than the original pads. The pads have very little fade after they get hot and always feel solid when coming to an abrupt stop with no spongy feeling. Definite upgrade over the OEM pads. ... show more
