Description

Glass terrariums are the preferred choice of professional Herpetologists. They offer the best viewing for your animal; they are suitable for damp and humid conditions, are hygienic and easy to clean.Glass also maintains the correct heat gradient more safely and easily-maintaining the correct heat gradient is critical to a reptile’s and amphibian’s well-being as they use external heat sources in their environment to regulate their body temperatures. In the wild these animals move around within their habitat (from sunlight to shade, or from above ground to burrows, for example) to regulate their body temperature. If they get too cool, their metabolism slows (and in conditions that are too hot or too cold, they enter states of inactivity or hibernation). Maintaining the appropriate temperature is vital to bodily functions such as digestion. It is important to provide the proper temperature conditions in order for the animal to grow and thrive. For many reptiles, it is not simply a matter of providing a constant temperature, however. They require a thermal gradient or a range of temperatures from a high end to a low end. Thus, the animal can move to a higher temperature or lower temperature to suit its needs at any given time. Easy to set up in several minutes by the steps in the instructions/videos supplied. The removable top mesh screen provides plenty of ventilation for optimum airflow, and allows full spectrum, UVB and IR light penetration, and is completely removable for easy access while decorating or cleaning. The bottom plate of the terrarium is raised to mount a substrate heater to heat a part of the extended ground surface. The terrarium is water-tight up to the hinged doors, which allows for a “water pool” inside the terrarium, or a natural water feature for an amphibian. There is also a special raised base to facilitate the placement of heat mats. A reliable specially designed lock prevents unwanted opening from children or pets and is an extra security measure to keep the animals in the terrarium. Rotating fixed structure can holds 4 lines firmly. This grommet is made of ABS, it is durable and easy to install and uninstall.

I and my beardie absolutely love it! It was very easy to assemble, plus it also came with gloves so you have a better grip on the glass and prevents a bunch of annoying fingerprints. My male beardie (who is about a year old) fits in it perfectly with plenty of room! I'm eventually going to invest in a larger PVC tank, but for now, my 125g ball python is enjoying this one. Everything came packaged very well, and nothing broken. The tank was easy to put together. The only thing that drives me crazy was the amount of loose Styrofoam IN EVER CREVICE. It does well enough keeping heat and humidity as long as you put in the effort with good substrate, probe placement, and using hvac tape. ... show more

I was worried given how many reviews noted the item came broken or missing pieces. For a non-returnable item, it was a big price for little piece of mind. Much to my surprise it came without damage. I bought this for a chipmunk that we rescued as an adolescent and can’t be returned to the wild (we tried, twice…). I wanted to recreate his natural habitat and top loading tanks weren’t deep enough and too cumbersome with the lid. This tank had 10” between the doors and the bottom, plenty of space to fill with substrate so he can dig tunnels and the front entry makes it easy for me to get inside for cleaning or upgrades. He loves it and has lots of levels for climbing and activities. It’s a beautiful tank and I’ve received lots of compliments! I do not have water in the tank so I can’t tell you if it leaks. Lock is good and handles were a nice touch to reduce fingerprints. However, some issues to be aware of before ordering. It’s not rocket science to put it together, but it wasn’t easy either. Took me an hour by myself because of the delicate nature and awkwardness of the glass panels. The directions are poor and a link to a video would have been amazing, but there was not one. The glass pieces were labeled, which was a big help and they give you special gloves for assembly, but you also have to assemble the joints and they are flimsy. Putting this together is really a two person job. I used electrical tape to hold the back joints in place so I could insert the back walk. The front joints are connected to the door panels (I spent forever trying to figure that out) and do not look like the back panel, so technically the side panel is only held in securely on one side of the panel. As I was placing suction cupped items on the side panel (the seagrass hammocks and a plastic water dish) I had to push from both sides of the glass at the same time or you risk popping the side panel out and breaking the glass. I had to assemble on the floor so I could be tall enough to slide the panels in (Im 5’3), but then the empty tank was too heavy to lift on to the table stand once complete. I had to wait for help and then stress that picking it up would crack or break it. Once together the system doesn’t feel particularly sturdy as the joints aren’t really connected. The other issue is the finger prints and glare. Unless its dark in the house, the glare and reflection off the glass impedes viewing and Im still cleaning prints off from adding the inside items. This isnt a deal killer and probably true of all glass tanks, but the glass in all directions seems to exasperate this…not a manufacturer issue, just something to be mindful of with placement because unless you put it on a stand with wheels you can’t really move it around due to the issues with sturdiness. Put it together as close to where it will remain as possible. Overall I’m happy and was glad I purchased. Shipping was quick. Box was heavy AF and arrived damaged, so I can see how pieces could get broken, but everything besides the bottom piece seemed to be packed really well. ... show more

Finally, a perfect fit for my shelf and my Kenyan sand boa! I love the depth of this tank, so many others are so narrow at only 12 inches wide - 18 inches gives her plenty of room to stretch out! I filled it with plenty of things for her to explore and she really seems to be enjoying the new space. I like that it's collapsible for travel and lighter weight than a standard terrarium. The doors and lid seem secure and so far my snake has not managed to escape. I use a small halogen heat lamp with this - so long as you don't put it too close to the edge of the lid, it's fine. The packaging was very sturdy and nothing arrived broken. Took me about 20 minutes to put it all together, instructions were very clear and simple. This is true to the video, my chameleon is content in this enclose. I really appreciate the versatility of the base holding water. Not a set up I am currently using but I can envision how beautiful of a terrarium could be set up with this feature.

(This photo is taken AFTER used a soft bristle toothbrush and gently scrubbed the entire mesh with warm water and mild soap) So, The assembly is easy. The quality of each part is sturdy. It seems well made. I absolutely LOVE that this can be half mesh half glass enclosure. HOWEVER, I bought this in March 2026. It’s only been 6 months and it is starting to rust!!
