    • This isn't just a laser gun. For a grower like me, it's another piece of the science
Okay, AC Infinity… you nailed this one. 👏 At first glance, this might look like a fancy temperature gun. But for someone who grows the way I do, it's SO much more valuable than that. I grow in an inert medium, which means I'm very intentional about what goes into my plants and how much. I'm measuring EC. I'm checking pH. I'm monitoring runoff. I'm tracking growth. I'm keeping a grow journal. I have enough nutrients and supplements in my grow room to make my kids call the whole thing my “mad scientist laboratory.” 😂 And honestly? They're not wrong. I've got measuring equipment, beakers, graduated cylinders, multiple nutrients and supplements, and I'm measuring things with the kind of precision you'd expect from someone working in a laboratory. Because here's the thing about growing: Consistency matters. If you want to understand your plants and figure out what works, you have to be able to consistently measure what you're doing and what's happening around your plants. That's why I love tools like this. This isn't just telling me the temperature of my room. I can measure the leaf temperature and the ambient air temperature, check humidity, and get my VPD information — all from one handheld tool. That's a LOT of useful information in one little laser gun. And being able to compare what's happening at the leaf level to what's happening in the surrounding environment gives me another piece of the puzzle when I'm evaluating how my plants are responding. For a casual grower, maybe that's overkill. For me? It's exactly what I want. 😂 I'm not a commercial grower. I'm an indoor home grower. This is my hobby, my science experiment, and honestly, my little slice of happiness in the middle of crazy adult life. Some people drink. Some people bowl. Some people play cornhole. I grow plants. 🌱 And I love that AC Infinity makes equipment that lets me approach that hobby with actual data instead of guesswork. Because when you're trying to be consistent, the more accurately you can measure, the more consistently you can grow. That's why this is getting five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AC Infinity — this is exactly the kind of tool that belongs in my mad scientist laboratory. 😂🌱 ... show more

    • OK
WORKS GOOD BUT YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT IN THE TENT YOU WANT TO CHECK IF YOU DONT THEN WHEN YOU TAKE LEAF MEASUREMENT AND IT CALCULATES ITS TEMP AGAINTS ABIENT TEMP YOULL BE OFF ON VPD OTHER THAN THAT WORKS GOOD , also helps to have the 69 pro so you can more accurately calibrate it i used 2 different hygrometers i know to be on to manually adjust mine. so far after 2 weeks use and leavening it in tent for15 to 20 mins before checking vpd/ it works good laser dots are not bright enough but still well worth the money ... show more

I bought this device less than a year ago and loved how it looked and 2 of you colleagues bought it because of howuch I hyped it, before you know it, the accuracy went out the window. And now the screen is all jumbled up, I replaced the battery the same issue..

    • Great thermometer for plant environment control
Great thermometer. The VPD ability is key as I need a very specific range for my plants. It also allows me to know leaf surface temperature, which is another key variable for environmental control. Easy to use and read, great value for the price.
