These are a lifesaver for our dog's spay surgery. Way better than the cone or donut!! We bought them a few days before her surgery to let her wear and get used to them. We took one to the vet the day of her surgery to wear home. Our pup is about 23 lbs and her back length is 19" and chest is 21.5" the large fit her almost perfectly. The belly on the suit is roomy so there's no rubbing on her incision. She can't reach the incision and neither can our other dog (but has made no attempt to try). The velcro attachment area is very nice as there's no tail hole that can be uncomfortable for some dogs. No need to remove to potty (pee or poo) and the suit doesn't get soiled when pottying at all!! Material is soft and doesn't seem to bother her (other than the fact that she'd rather be wearing nothing haha). Zipper opens and closes very smoothly and is made of thicker plastic, which is more gentle and somewhat quiet. They wash up nicely, I hang to dry. We purchased two so when one is being washed, we have another ready to go. Highly recommend!!

This is a great product to use with or without a cone/inflatable donut. It keeps her belly clean while healing from surgery when outside, because dogs will be dogs. My dog didn’t like being in an outfit at first but after a little bit she didn’t try to get out of it. The fabric is lightweight but it’s of good quality and has a zipper for better security.

I rarely leave reviews but appreciate others reviews. This suit is wonderful. We foster dogs for a local rescue and that includes getting through the spaying process. I bought this suit for our latest foster and it is phenomenal! The way that it fits, she can pee and poo without having to fold back the surgical covering. SCORE! And the zipper opening around the neck was also a huge game changer!

my dog just got fixed yesterday and she hasn’t been able to get to the spot at all and she can still go potty in the suit but she feels awkward about it so I tend to unvelcro around her butt to give her more room and it’s super easy. The Velcro in the back also makes it easy to check the incision daily.

Very nice suit fits very well. Got it a little bit late in the game. It was a little bit too small but I purchased one just like it from Walmart. The Velcro didn’t even last three days. This one is a very, very strong Velcro and a very good product.

This cute little suit was a lifesaver over the dreaded cone. It’s easy on and off and my pup was so satisfied with it. It actually became a comfort for her. I purchased the XL for my 90 lb English Lab and it was perfect. A second one would have been very helpful for the two-week period of “confinement” while the other was in the laundry. Price point was excellent over my local pet store. Highly recommend!!

My dog had surgery resulting in stitches on her shoulder. The "cone" was not necessary because she couldn't get her head around that tight to lick it. But, the stitches were in the perfect spot for her hind leg to scratch. Oh NO! I bought this the night of the surgery once I realized the problem, and it arrived very fast. Thank goodness! It lasted almost 5 days. I was home for 3 of the days, but had to be at work the last two. When I could supervise her, I could make sure the wound was covered. However, she kept shaking, like she wanted to "shake it off". By my second day at work, she managed to rip off the back and tear it up. I have no idea where the velcro is???? By the way, the velcro is strong! This is a 56 lb cattle dog, and I think I should have sized up a little. The overall body size was good at XL but I think it was too snug around her shoulders. She has a poofy "lion's mane" fur pattern there, and the thread of the stitches may have been catching on the fabric too, maybe causing her discomfort? She hasn't posted a complaint to social media yet, so I don't know what her deal was.... The fabric itself was nice enough. It was soft like baby clothes, and thin so I don't think she was too hot. (It's been in the 80's here recently.) The zipper made it easy on/off. I did modify how I had her wearing it, and didn't wrap it around her hind end - that way she could potty as needed without wardrobe drama. If you can provide supervision, this is perfect. If you can't be there, and you have a stubborn diva dog.... well, I warned you about my experience. She's been a few days "naked" and has scratched a few times, causing bleeding. But we are over a week into the healing so things are improving.
