I’ve been slowly integrating these rechargeable motion lights into almost every cupboard in my kitchen. Two of these were installed inside my pots and pans cabinets and the third in my spice cabinet. What a difference that made in being able to see labels on spice bottles! I definitely should have put one in there sooner. I’ve tried several of these types of lights and this is the best I’ve found so far. There are three temperatures of light from warm to mid-range to cool. There are five brightness levels and three options for how you would like the motion detection to work. These lights also have over 50 LED’s so it’s sure to light up just about any space. They worked out of the box, but I charged them through USB C cables which took about an hour. Installing them was as simple as applying the metal brackets to the backs of the lights, uncovering the adhesive tabs and sticking them in place. I’ve used this system before and so far none of them have fallen off and many of them are stuck on the inside of the cabinet where the surface is unfinished. My only wish for these lights is that there were more buttons to make choosing the options easier. You have to put the light into hand wave mode to adjust the brightness. You have to long push the button to change light temperature. Short presses changes the function. Even one other button for dimming would help simplify things. At least they put the instructions on the back of the light if you want to change settings down the line and don’t have the manual handy. That’s the first time I’ve seen that. I don't use these kinds of under-cabinet lights in my kitchen. Instead I place them on my stairs, so I can see if I have to go downstairs at night, without turning on the overhead lights. Of the lights I have in this category, these may be my favorites. The light doesn't appear to be a bunch of small LEDs, as some of my others are, but the light is a single panel, and you can adjust the the tone (from warm to bright white) and the mode with a single button. (I always opt for motion detection at night.) They charge quickly, and while I don't know yet how long they will hold a charge, at least it won't take much to recharge them when the time comes. As another reviewer noted, the instructions are easy to follow, so there isn't much guesswork with setting them up. Definitely recommended. ... show more

It begins with the packaging…very organized, informative, and attractive. The instructions are succinct and easy to follow. A very nice feature is the instructions are on the back of the light strip, so there is no need to go hunting for instructions for mode setting or setting color temperature. The light can turn on by either physical motion or by hand gesture under the light. The physical motion is great for closets and the hand gesture is nice for under cabinets . Battery life is quite good and the magnets work very well. I have tried many similar type lighting products and this has rapidly become my favorite. I like not having to deal with wires. Recharging takes an hour or two to go from nothing to fully charged. Excellent value. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very nice lights. They can be very light or they can be dimmed. 1 thing I didn't like is that once magnet was stuck on I was able to still knock light off the magnet. It takes time to get used to as you can see by my video but, it is still worth buying! I gave it 4 stars as I was able to knock light off the magnet. ... show more
