Description

It’s estimated that as many as 100 million birds die in the United States every year from collisions with windows, all because they cannot perceive glass. Make glass visible and save the lives of thousands of animals, all while giving your family a great deal of additional privacy and energy-saving. VViViD Vinyl’s White Perforated Window Film offers all this in an incredibly easy-to-use package. The adhesive on this vinyl is acrylic-based and safe to handle, making it a breeze to install at any skill level. VViViD’s vinyl window film is almost completely opaque from outside, but see-through from within, imparting both privacy and a reduction of harmful UV rays. In addition, by making your windows opaque when exposed to light, birds will not be fooled into trying to fly through them or trigger territorial aggression. Protect nature without obscuring your view of it. Try our vinyl today!

  • Perfect for Topper windows
Size: 12" x 54"
Easy to install. Just soap and water sprayed liberally on both the window and back of the sheet. I was able to position it as I wanted! Needed a larger sheet ( width ) than standard window perforated sheets and didn't want an artistic "scene" mural - which would have been the correct size but at twice the cost! Visibility is perfect from the inside but makes it more challenging to see into my truck from outside (unless someone gets right up to the glass) I also like that it is white on the inside but black from outside - works great with factory tinted windows. Happy Camper! ... show more

  • It works!
Size: 17.9" x 54"
This prevents birds striking the window completely and is easy to apply. I found at Toyo one corner working diagonally in an upward motion worked best. You can easily reposition the covering. You must put this on the outside of the window where the white side is. If you put it on the inside of the window the black side can still reflect the sky and trees. Thats the only draw back I could find. I have a few taller windows on the third floor I’d have like to use this for. I love that I can look out and see the birds and they don’t see me and fly away. I’m also pleased it works not one bird had knocked into this window! ... show more

  • Product was damaged, company replaced
Size: 54" x 60"
Several feet of the vinyl were unusable because it had a dark dirty adhesive on it and the holes were stretched. Company is replacing the roll for me. The vinyl itself was easy to work with, good quality and pretty amazing-you can see out, but not in!

  • Super effective
Size: 54" x 120" Bulk Roll
My deck gets scorched in the summer from the sun arcing off the windows that are slightly concave (cheap vinyl replacements that came with house). Took me awhile to figure out which window needed screen, but after I put one up for the scorch problem, I realized this was such a nice way to create daytime privacy, I bought more and covered whole backyard. Now I can see all day long that I need to mow the lawn! It really reduces the interior heat at the window as well. Very effective if you don't mind the very modern, sleek look the white creates on the outside. My house is a 1940s, so not what I was going for. Fussy to install, but doable. ... show more

  • This is not 50/50 film
Size: 54" x 60"
Advertised as 50/50 (50%) perforated vinyl - what I received was what appeared to be 60/40 (40%) or 65/35 (35%). I should have looked at the listing more closely as none of photos in the listing depict 50/50 film. 50/50 film has larger perforations (with less vinyl material between the holes) and is MUCH more fragile to handle. I am fabricating window inserts to convert my Toyota Prius into a stealth camper. 60/40 film is perfect for all the windows except the hatchback window. The hatchback window requires a higher perforation-to-surface ratio to allow more light to pass through. Anything less than 50/50 (50%) will obstruct and distort the drivers rear-view because the hatchback is at an angle to the driver's view through the rear-view mirror. The firsts attached photo show the VViViD product partially unrolled with a sample window insert using 60/40 film. The second photo attached shows a close-up of the VViViD product compared to the sample of 60/40. The perforations in the VViViD product are larger - which might lead some to believe that the perforation-to-surface ratio is greater than the 60/40 sample. However, the spacing between the perforations in the VViViD product are also larger, which means that the the stock is, at most, 60/40 (more likely 65/35). The third attached photo shows what 65/35, 60/40 and 50/50 should look like. In any case, the VViViD product material not suitable for my application, so the it was returned (last photo). The seller should not be listing this product as 50/50 (50%) perforated vinyl, unless he/she can certify it as 50/50. No documentation was was provided with the product that certified it as such. I am still looking for anyone who actually DOES sell 50/50 perforated vinyl. Any help would be appreciated. ... show more

  • No more birds hitting my window & easy to remove!!
Size: 54" x 60"
Worked perfectly but when it was time to remove, I came here to read the comments & found nothing. I'm here to tell you, it was a piece of cake once I discovered the right method... First, I've had this on my windows for 3 years & it stopped the birds in the trees right outside my windows from banging into my window INSTANTLY! 🙌 This summer, we cut down those dying trees & no longer needed it. Didn't care about the vinyl on my window either way, so I left it alone. Fast forward to December & now I can put wreaths on that side of my house since you can see the windows, since they're no longer blocked by trees! That's when I realized how it peels off a tiny piece at a time... but I was determined! My husband told me to leave it alone & that it'd be a "project." I sprayed goo gone on it, put the window back up because it's cold, and let it sit as the goo gone slide down. Lol. Whatever. 2 hours later, tried to get it off, nope. Went to YouTube. They recommended spraying soap & water on it, and then putting bubble wrap over top to make sure the mixture stayed on to penetrate the adhesive. They suggested to leave it on for 1-2 hours, but I left it on overnight (while also leaving the goo gone on, whatever was still on there). Windows up, obviously, it's December. On YouTube, he then just peeled it off, but I knew this vinyl wasn't something that would peel easy, so I bought a razor blade scraper tool that came with a handle... It scraped off like BUTTER!!! & It's freezing in Ohio so this can be done anytime of year because it was that FAST!! Not sure if just soap & water + bubble wrap for 1-2 hours would work by itself, but make sure it gets a good soak to loosen the adhesive, & the razor blade scraper tool will be the hero in the story too 👌 ... show more
