Kind of like having your mattress on the floor. So I purchased this metal box frame to bring up the mattress height. It was easy to assemble inside the original bed frame, (instead of dragging it around once assembled). It fit perfectly as you can see and with the mattress on top, it's just right on the height that I wanted. No creaking noises, no feeling of the cross members through the mattress and great support. I Definity recommend it as an alternatives to a regular box spring.

I love this box springs! Very sturdy and great quality. I have a tall mattress and I had a hard time getting in and out of the bed. So I bought this 5" low profile bed springs and it solved the problem. They are very quiet and hold the mattress in place just perfect. I highly recommend this!
