The media could not be loaded. I use this every day. After owning it for a few months here is my breakdown review. First off this is not a laptop attachment and has no ports or anything it's just a keyboard case (saw people asking) for all purposes it does what it says it does, protects your iPad, allow you to type normally on the keyboard, flipps around for different viewing angles. That is that. Yes it is heavy because it has to be in order to offset the weight of this huge iPad model. Yes it has a pen slot. I have only charged my keyboard one time in the past two months. Ok cons: the keyboard will disconnect after not using it for a few mins. Tap any key and wait about 5 seconds and your ready to type, this is a battery saver I think but if you are used to regular laptops it can be very annoying as you will start typing and then notice it didn't pick up your first few words, however if you are like typing a book then you should have no connection problems. But with scrolling through the internet it's annoying that you have to wait here and there to type in search boxes etc. Although the viewing angles are a whole 180 up and down after you pass like 60 degrees the pressure is too much for the little joint and the iPad will fall down flat on your keyboard or the table behind it depending on how you have it twisted. So I would keep it at a regular 80-90 degree angle unless you wanna hear your iPad slap down. When it is closed it automatically shuts off the iPad. But it has that twisty feature which, while closed, is still able to twist so if you don't hold it tight it like separates weird... I'll take a pic/video. Anyway if you use it right it's good, it's a good case just with "personality flaws" but better than most lol. Hey we all know what we are really looking for, a keyboard case that actually sits in your lap that holds up your iPad without any cloth cardboard flimsy things that pop out and wings and Velcro and all that crap, this does the job really.     • Don’t buy...not sure if they’re still in business
I was originally impressed with this case but the cons definitely outweigh the pros. I actually came on here in an attempt to contact the company to see if I could still get a replacement, but it appears that Snugg may no longer be in business. Their Facebook page hasn’t been updated since January and their website is no longer available. So I’m assuming my “lifetime warranty” is basically worthless. The case itself is heavy and durable, although the cover does easily get marked up as others have noted. I was and am still really impressed by the swivel/flip action; the hinge appears to be very durable. The issue is the keyboard is extremely laggy, especially compared to my old iPad keyboard from Zagg. This started out of the box, but it’s gotten progressively worse. It’s now started either inserting a period every time I hit the space bar or inserting about 10-15 spaces in a row, rendering it basically unusable. It also doesn’t last that long between charges. Looks like I’ll be looking to buy a new one and that this was a complete waste of money. ... show more

Received this faster than expected! Firstly, yes its heavy. Almost laptop heavy but it's not even a big deal. I threw in pictures showing the iPad laying flat on the keyboard because I know many people here including myself wanted to know about it.The keyboard works great! Connected quickly, auto locks the iPad when you close it, and it looks nice overall. One minor thing I'm not completely fond of is the part that attaches the iPad part to the keyboard. While I understand it's supposed to rotate and be able to lean the iPad a certain way, it feels a tiny bit flimsy. It's not a big thing but you can simply rotate the iPad while it's closed on keyboard. Its not something most people would try but i was checking to see how secure it was. Final rating: amazing! I need this for school since it's a pain to carry my big laptop around and I like to sketch on my tablet as well. So now I don't have to worry about which one I wanna take! Just the pencil slot is so satisfying. I highly recommend this! Summary: PRO-ipad lays flat on keyboard, quickly connects, auto locks iPad screen, keyboard typing is great. CON- almost as heavy as laptop, easily rotates even when iPad is closed with keyboard. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant to buy this case because people said how heavy it was and I didn't know if I could lay it down to cover the keys and use it like a tablet (my pictures show you can!). In reality, it's about as heavy as a light laptop, that should be expected. It's easy to carry with one hand still, and fits inside a book bag or laptop bag just perfect (it's still thin compared to a computer). It really does flip, turn, lay every way you can think of. It's not filmsy in my opinion. I can lay in bed and type like I'm on a laptop, great for work or school. Or turn it around in the kitchen and use it as a "recipe" stand. The case has openings for all the ports and speaker so listening to music is clear just like if you didn't have the case. The keys are much better than I expected! I feel exactly like I'm typing on a laptop; very different from typing on the tablet keyboards. The one negative thing is that the keyboard is not backlit. It makes it hard to see in the dark (I'm proficient at typing but sometimes you need to see that random symbol or you want to type a lot of numbers quickly). If this had a backlit keyboard it would be perfect. Other than that, have a nightlight in the dark and you're good to go. ... show more
