We recently had a baby. Our baby is quite the caboose and 7 years younger than our last child. We had gotten rid of all of our baby things assuming we were done. So I was on the look out for something affordable, user friendly, and something that didn’t run off WiFi. After reading over reviews and waiting for a good deal, I snagged one of these. I have been so happy with my purchase. It works well. The range on it has been wonderful working all the way across my home as I work from home and my office is on the exact opposite of the home. The battery life would be the biggest complaint I had. I would charge it before I went to bed. Usually went to bed around 10 or 10:30 and it would beep that it was dead between 4:30 and 5. My baby now sleeps until 7 so it was annoying to be woken up when baby was still sleeping. I don’t have an open plug near my nightstand due to it being taken up by other things. My newest complaint started a few weeks ago. I noticed the screen would go weird, or the sound would cut out randomly. Then I started getting this screen that would say no signal. I usually could turn it off and back on and that would solve the problem. However this last week the problem got worse and now the baby monitor just turns itself off. This happened through the night and I woke to hear my baby crying, but due to closed doors in our home he had been crying for a while. I was feeling upset things weren’t working like they had been and reached out to the seller and explained my situation and what was going on. They responded within 12 hours with the option of a replacement or my money back. I’ve enjoyed the monitor so much I opted for a replacement. We will see how things go with the new one. But their customer service alone should receive 5 stars! Great company to work with.

This baby monitor set is definitely a must-have for new parents. The peace of mind that it provides amidst the chaos is indispensable. The camera unit is not too large, is sleek and unassuming, was super easy to setup and does come with mounting hardware, if needed. I just put ours on the windowsill that is near baby's bassinet. The monitor is great; displays in daylight and nighttime video modes that switch as light changes in the room. Also displays the time and room temperature. You can change the camera's position, zoom, turn the volume on and off, talk to your baby/child via speaker, and adjust other settings. I've dropped the monitor many times and it's held up well, no issues. It does have to be charged often with regular use, but I expected that. Will be buying another camera unit soon as our preschooler transitions to her own room...

We just had our 3rd baby and are on the go all the time with our older kids. We were in need of a simple monitor and camera. We love this camera and monitor because we don’t have to connect to WiFi. We can plug it in at hotels, family houses, etc and not have to worry about accessing WiFi. It’s very easy to use. You just set it up where you want and plug it in. It fits perfectly in our diaper bag and is pretty durable when dropped; although, I don’t recommend dropping it to test it haha. Overall, we are happy with the picture quality, that you can zoom in, and that you can move about the house while still staying in range. Some people didn’t like that you can’t talk to your baby through the monitor but since this is something we use on-the-go, we weren’t looking for that feature.

I was looking for an affordable baby monitor that I could bring with me when we travel or visit relatives. I initially purchased this item due to the great price and good reviews. The picture quality looked great, the unit was crazy easy to set up (plug and play), and was packaged well. The two fatal flaws in my opinion are the following: 1. Does not pan around the room ( there is a small feature where when you're zoomed in you can go right slightly and left slightly but this will not give you an image outside of where the camera is DIRECTLY pointing. 2. Picture on the parent unit is SO tiny - its really challenging to make out the details of what you're looking at This is a well built unit and could serve a purpose for other families if you just need to look directly at one very specific area with the camera but overall did not meet our needs when using as a baby monitor. We ended up spending an extra $10 to buy a different model with a bigger screen and a camera that can pan 360 degrees around the room.

My daughter has a dog that’s blind & hard of hearing. She was going to visit her daughter leaving me in charge of her dog for a few days. Rather than me just sit in her place that is next to mine, I got this monitor, put a bell on him so it would alert me to movement. This monitor worked amazingly! I could continue with my chores & life yet keep an eye on her dog. I could hear the dingle of the little bell on the monitor that alerted me to his movements. My daughter decided I was a genius (& I am) to think of that for a dog. And, she now uses it herself to know when he’s up & needs something. This was so with the excellent price I paid. And, it great for all babies including the four footed.

We got this for our newborn, and while I thought the camera looked like a little higher quality than it was in real life, the whole system works as advertised. For the price, this is a good buy as it works to monitor the baby and make it so we know when they wake up. It has a VOX setting that turns off the screen and sound so that you can sleep with it at night; while I like the feature, it doesn’t work real well with having a white noise machine because the white noise keeps it on at the first two levels, and on the highest level it turns on and off too much. The monitor part is nice, it has a good battery life and you can take it around the house with you as needed. Overall, because it was as cheap as it is, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap baby monitor.
