If you are buying this camera because you want your toddler to take high quality images (don't), but if you are buying this for your picture-taking loving toddler to have fun and take okay photos and just enjoy, then 100% buy it. This thing was made in a very smart way for durability because my toddler drops it all the time. The big handles on each side protect the screen and it still works fine. My only complaint is that when it does fall the battery covers tend to pop off and the batteries pop out (I wish I could screw the covers on.) I ended up buying one for both of my kids so they can play together and they love the cameras. The cameras also have little filters and games that are fun, but I also appreciate that you can turn the games off. I appreciate that you can adjust the volume of the shutter and what not too. So the shitter speed is too low for kids… but holy moly this thing is a beast! It fell out of my bag without my knowledge and made its way under the car. I ran it over- WITH MY HUSBAND’s TRUCK!!! Not a little truck- a Chevy Silverado. The camera is still 100% operational and 90% intact. The only damage done by a truck remaining it over is that the battery cover (one side) doesn’t fit perfectly anymore. Seriously sturdy item!! ... show more

I had bought one of these for my daughter when she turned 4. She still plays with it at age 8! I hesitated to buy one for my second daughter because I figured it would be the same. I got a different color since she likes blue. I was pleasantly surprised that all the games were different and there are some new features! I reccomend getting rechargeable batteries, though regular ones do last awhile. Pictures aren't super good quality, but it's a kids camera so I'm satisfied with it. Bought as a birthday gift for my toddler, he loves it. Use to want to take pictures from wife's Iphone but he would rather take his camera everywhere now. It has some games on it for those long rides and it is simple to use. The picture quality is not the best, reminds me of pictures phones from the 90s use to take. I recommend to get a SD card for it since it doesn't come with one. Wish it had a rechargeable battery in it, you need four AA batteries. It is a great starter camera for a toddler. ... show more

The camera is so fun and my kids love it. They play with it constantly. My only problem is that the battery compartments open easily as there is no safety screw. My kids have dropped the camera and all batteries come flying out. Now, my 2.5 yo knows how to open both compartments and if I’m not paying close attention, he ends up playing with the batteries, which is obviously not ideal. My 2-year old daughter loves this camera. There is a slight 1-2 second delay between hitting the button and the camera actually taking the picture. This causes her to constantly take pictures of the ceiling or floor. Seems sturdy, thought, and like I said she loves it!
