VTech IS8102 Additional Handset for IS8121 Series: Item was presented as Used - Like New. I would easily say this item was 100% perfect in appearance and so far, functionality. The only thing I noticed, was the face of the phone in a NEW system, would have had a thin plastic sheet protecting the screen. This small note does not distract from the description, and I am totally happy with the cost, handling, and extremely fast shipping. We purchased the VTech IS8128-11 for our office, and it has exceeded expectations. The range is outstanding — we can move throughout the warehouse and parking area without losing signal (close to the 2300 ft claim). The sound quality is crystal clear, and the answering machine works seamlessly. The Bluetooth Connect-to-Cell feature is especially useful, allowing us to pair with cell phones so staff don’t miss important business calls. The call blocking option helps keep unwanted calls out. Highly recommend this phone system for both home and small business use.

I love the look and I put this in the office of the self storage facility that I work at and manage. It’s a little bit confusing when you have the home button on the base is not lit up like the one on the handset which should be a little bit bigger as well and if you pick up the handset, it makes a high-pitched sound so you have to either decide if you want to use the base as the speakerphone or the handset. I love the fact that the range works well and the voice quality is nice. I just wish they improved on the base and instead of home they should say dial or on and off something to not confuse elderly people because my relief Manager had a hard time.

Top quality DECT phone system. Treat features. Good sound. My 5G phone was scratchy and noisy but located about 100 feet away at the time. The ability to import contacts from the phone and then utilize it for call screening is very helpful.

We paid $88 for this set of three phones because they were advertised to be boosted long range strong signal cordless phones. In just even using the main phone at the base station, the phone cuts in and out during calls! It also has that cheap situation where while you are on the phone, if your head moves at all in relation to the phone, there is no 'feedback' from the shape of the earpiece to tell where the speaker is. So, you'll be listening to someone and then they will get fainter, and then you can't hear them... and sometimes it is the signal cutting in and out for the caller, and sometimes it is that your ear is drifting up and down the handset, searching for the tiny speaker in order to hear the caller talk! TERRIBLE purchase, and unfortunately, byt he time we got around to charging and setting up the bases all around our house, and then testing how well the phones worked at different locations, and then using them during actual calls where you don't just listen for a dial tone-- we had tossed the return box and taken off the little plastic covers. So, now it seems like we are stuck with throwing these terrible phones out and buying a new corded set or else testing out a different variety. DO NOT assume that paying almost $100 will guarantee the phones are cheap crap.

This phone system has more features than I can use. I like the clarity of the calls, and the best part is that you don't need to record your own answering machine message. It also has a feature where unknown callers will need to say their name and enter the # symbol if they want to get through to you. This will eliminate a lot of robocalls. The only thing that I wish that I could do with this phone system, is to be able to rename each phone for intercom use. As it is now, it'll just list the phones as, Base, Phone 1, Phone 2, Phone 3, Phone 4 and Phone 5. So now you'll have to memorize where each phone is for each location. Our Panasonic system we were replacing, you could rename each phone as, Bedroom, Kitchen, Living room, etc..
