I purchased this for my mother who stays on other side of the house. She falls I can’t her her in my Garage Apartment. The unit comes with a couple push buttons that can be worn around the neck or she has one in bathroom hanging on cabinet and other is hanging on her walker. She just has to push the button and I have it set to serin sound so I know it’s her. She would have to press it a couple time cause it goes off for only sounds for a few seconds she can now go to mailbox and outside and it works. ... show more

This was used on an elderly person who is bedridden. The watch was convenient to strap to their wrist and not have to look for the buzzer or have anything hanging around their neck that could potentially get caught in something and cause harm to the patient. There are multiple rooms where the caregiver could be (kitchen, living room, porch) but unfortunately, the range is not great so had to put the receiver close enough to the pick up the signal from the patient but found a strategic place where the receiver can he heard from multiple places. Also, it appears that if two receivers are too close together, but in seeprate rooms, one will not receive the signal and will never make a sound to alert the caregiver. Overall I think it is a good product for the price. Currently, only have one patient so I have not tested if this would be useful if the watches were given to separate individuals. ... show more

Bought for my dad in hospice and they love it. Helps his caregiver sleep in another room and can tend to my father if needed. Great system for the money but only works in outlet they say not in surge protectors.

    • Excellent In-Home System with Watch Alarm

This system is just what I'd been looking for to help keep my elderly mother safe. (She fell recently and was unable to reach her alarm button or phone from the floor.) I knew she needed something she could wear on her body, yet she refused to wear her alarm on a lanyard around her neck at night from her previous system. This system arrived yesterday and is VERY similar to the CalltoU system we had, yet it includes the alarm bracelet. In fact it's so similar I was able to pair both watches in this set with our CalltoU receivers already installed. The round, white alarm buttons are identical to the CalltoU system we already had. I LOVE this system for providing a way for my mom to call for assistance if I'm in the basement, another part of the house, or during the night. The volume can be easily adjusted, and there are numerous sounds you can choose for each alarm button. Each button needs to be paired with each receiver including choosing the particular alarm sound for each receiver, but you can use the default sound if you'd like. You can make one button push sound different than when another button is pushed, so if the button is by the toilet you can make the alarm sound different than if it is pushed in the bedroom. I just chose to make all the alarms sound a Chrismas song for fun and also so it doesn't sound like our doorbell. Fantastic system that meets our needs quite well. ... show more

I got this set up because my Mom spent 28 days in the hospital and wasn't able to move. Once she got home, she wasn't able to get up or do much of anything on her on, so this alert system really helps around the house. She wears the necklace and anytime she needs anything all she has to do is push the button and it alerts the speaker in my room and in the living room... this has been a great thing to have during this time! ... show more
