This product is unusable. Due to poor design and quality, drill rotates clockwise about the post as you depress the lever so it's impossible to drill straight- the whole reason for using the product! I bought it because it was cheap, I figured it would be ok for my basic needs and light usage and I couldn't justify hundreds of dollars for a (I'm guessing) high quality alternative. But that the tradeoff just doesn't make sense in this case. It's completely unusable. ... show more

This drill stand was easy enough to assemble but that's all that can be said that is positive about it. The base had a slight warp to it and wobbled and was not steady. The head stock had lateral play to it so trying to drill something with any kind of accuracy is out of the question. Also, you need to have 3 or 4 hands to operate the darned thing. After one day it has been packed up and is on it's way back for a refund. This one was certainly not worth the advertised price. ... show more
