These are quite thin and I wouldn’t call them super absorbent. These are good for keeping things more sanitary when you have guests who want to try out the VR system. I think for the times when someone is sick or maybe you have a face full of make up one day, these would be great for that too…but please don’t expect these to soak up all the sweat that is bound to accumulate after a long gaming session. I try not to add too much unnecessary junk to the landfills, but I thought it would be a good idea to have these on hand just in case. I use my Quest 2 headset primarily for working out, and as a result, I sweat … a lot. My go to is a cloth facemask, but I need something for travel, and it is nice to have an available alternative just in case. I honestly did not expect much from these masks – I did not think this type of material would work as well as cloth. I was pleasantly surprised. They did a really good job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes and helping to reduce the amount of fog in the headset. Were they 100% perfect? No, but neither is the cloth mask. The key is to getting the mask on correctly – do that, and it will noticeably reduce the amount of sweat getting into your eyes. And I will add, it is nice to just throw them out when I am done (nothing like finding the sweaty pile of a cloth mask I forgot and then found hours later). Glad I picked these up. They are a part of my travel pack with my headset, and I will also always keep some around. ... show more
