    • Way better than I expected. Durable!
These came colored just as bright as the pictures show but what really surprised me was the quality. They are thick yet so so soft and so very durable. After unwrapping them- it just took a few minutes to lose the compressed shape they come in for shipping. They are so bright and lively and go with everything else in my room despite my style being more subdued. I’m not using them in a playroom. Or for kids. I got them to fit a large shelving unit and they perfectly fit each cubby. I mixed them in with some solid colors and they are so sweet. Not garish or too much. They just add a pop of color and whimsy. I use them for all sorts of things. To carry a small load of laundry. To store random items- but my very favorite thing about them is I can carry them on top of my head. They balance perfectly. The bottom is soft so it molds to your scalp and frees up your arms. I’d seen photos of women in Africa carry things this way but never could understand how. I don’t even have good balance. But these are so easy to wear on your head you can get all sorts of things done without even having to walk slowly. I also like wearing them as a hat but that’s a whole other story. In all seriousness I’m writing this review because they were surprisingly well made and durable yet so soft for the price. I immediately regretted not getting a few more and probably will go ahead and order another set of 3. Oh and best thing ever- unlike 90% of everything else I order from Amazon these did not need off gassing. No odor or smell of chemicals. I didn’t have to leave them outside for two weeks like the rug I just bought to get that burnt plastic chemical smell out. They were just ready to use and I appreciate that so so much. So perfect for a kids room or a playful adult like me who is chemically sensitive and likes big hats that double as storage containers. Win win. Haven’t tried washing yet so can’t comment on that. But I doubt anyone would be disappointed in the quality and durability found here. Way beyond what I was expecting for the price. I plan on getting some more to give away as gifts. ... show more

Like many other reviews, they come very creased due to how they’re folded in the box. I used the advice of others and steamed each of them. After steaming, I put a large blanket in it overnight and removed it the next day. 1/3 didn’t need another round of steaming but the other 2 did. Good quality, but came all folded up and badly creased. :-/ While trying to figure out how to round them back out, I noticed people saying steam and time, but when I looked at them, they didn’t appear to have a “wrong side” or seam that would indicate if it was inside out. Using both hands and my feet (not going to lie), and some patience after a long day at the office, I flipped them outside out. I rolled them along the ground a bit, and the shape is much better. Because of how these are folded in the box, they have a hard time taking a round shape. Plus they are also shorter than in the photo. They are sturdy and made well. But they have a strange shape that’s hard to correct. Not sure I’m happy with my purchase at all. Plus they are shorter and smaller. Will probably return ... show more
