It does have a fan that does make a little noise. But a fan is actually a good thing because it's keeping your battery cool. But for people sensitive to noise, it might make an issue if you have it where you're sleeping, which is why I want to bring that point out. I've charged multiple phones with it through multiple cases without any difficulties. I got this so I could have a charger as part of my white themed gaming setup. It charges my iPhone 12pro max pretty quickly and it begins as soon as the phone is placed on it. I’ve had other wireless chargers that wouldn’t “connect” or “sense” the phone the first time. it’s also MagSafe. So with the right case, you don’t even have to take it off. My husband loves using this charger since his Samsong phone was beginning to have issues with the port to charge. My son sometimes uses the charger with his iPhone. He takes the case off to charge his phone; my husband does not use a case on his phone. The only thing to be careful of is be sure when you put the phone on the charger it is correctly placed to be charged. (Both guys have made that mistake before.) It charges in a decent time, (though my husband usually charges over night.) I think the price was great, nice looking, and the stand seems to be better than using a charging pad that lies flat. ... show more

These little guys look great on our bedside tables. In white, they look almost like an Apple product. They’re so minimal and understated. And they charge our iPhones great. Was so happy with them I bought two more… one for the guest room and one for my elderly mom. She looses the cords to her phone all the time. This should help! Great product. (The blue light that come on when it’s charging is unfortunate…. It’s v bright. Turning the unit so it’s not facing directly at us solves the problem….) ... show more
